Wow they were $109? I just got BOGO for $76.29. Basically, $38.15 for each pair, with free shipping. Obviously this is not going to last since they sell these out quickly. Especially the black leather shoe with black sole. i’m grateful that I was able to grab these while I could. The only thing that I would have preferred was the ability of taking the leather insole out so I can put my own Lems cork insole in there. I would like to have just a little bit more cushion, and the Lems cork insole provide that for me. When I get them, I’ll see how “permanent” the leather insole really is. Sometimes they’re glued and you can just peel them off and take them out like I have other barefoot type shoes like Vivobarefoot. I love that brand too very much. That’s actually the high-end of barefoot type shoes and I have several pairs of those as well. Great review thank you for doing this video!

We can try. Companies like that are hard to contact. They’re generally very faceless. So it’s hard to get to the person to chat about having shoes sent out for review. But we’ll give it a go

Been wearing mine to work regularly and they're holding up just fine, no issues! My work also isn't super tough on them, just walking through airport terminals and sitting in the cockpit...

That is a nice looking Leather shoe. I like Leather but it is very very extremely difficult to find footwear in Leather for me because of how extremely wide my feet 🦶 are. I like how wide the toes box area is I just wonder if they are wide enough for me since my toes are square boxes feet 🦶. I also wonder if they are big size friendly since I am a sz15. Try Feelgrounds with their series Barefood+ with extra wide shoes - they have full leather model which is great

Alright Eric the big question... what's your favorite layover? Lol I work for jetblue and thought about getting these for work, but went with the Feelgrounds Droptop Luxe and gonna try the Original Luxe next. (Got the old soles with the 50% off sale) These Splays did catch my attention... but I was the guy who had to glue my bottoms back on my other Splays and was waiting for a review. Haha let me know how the heat does with the glue. Thanks guys for another cool video!

Wish I had an answer but the whole reason I went with Breeze was no layovers! At least at my base, they do exist in the system but only outside PVU for now. I've been looking at the Feelgrounds for work too! Have you liked them?? And we'll definitely give an update after the summer and I've walked on some hot tarmacs with the Splays haha.

@@sonsofsever with Breeze I'm sure you're getting those 3 and 4 leg days, but it's always nice to go home at the end of the day. I've never had any problems with my Feelgrounds, my first pair lasted me about a year and a half maybe longer. Had a layover in HPN during the winter and walking out to the van stepped on a little dusting of snow and was like.... hmm.... my foots wet? Took my shoe off and noticed I wore a hole at the bottom hahaha but the miles I had on those were definitely worth it, the shoe held up great and the new soles they have are supposed to be even more durable. Idk if they still have the old sole sale, but 50% off is totally worth it lol I have 6 pairs currently of Feelgrounds. Do you have toe socks for work? Or just wear any black dress sock

@@Nipstradamus yeah the 4 leg days are killer! Super efficient so you don't end up having to do too many each month but it is a pain. And for socks I've been wearing Creepers. They've lasted over a year now with super regular wear. That's good to hear about the Feelgrounds, they make really good looking shoes, I'm definitely gonna pursue that!

Do you know if the new models will be wider or rather more shaped like a normal human healthy foot. bio- mechanically correct, ergonomic and anatomical obliquely shaped or correct human foot shaped toe-box. I have a pair that I purchased just over two years ago when they first came out to my knowledge. For the most part, they are shaped like a foot but for the big toe to be straight out‼️‼️‼️(this is for proper launching point of the stride) that’s why I don’t wear them. The big toe is curved inbound. so I hope the newer ones are more shaped to fit a range of human feet(my feet are somewhat wide in the toebox area and I have narrow.
