The bridge has been a much needed feature for too long, but I've been trying for days to get it to install but the install button is redundant in the app for me and the download on the website sends me to a random sound pack, it just won't work. I've checked my plan and it's Sounds+ so i'm super stumped!

i have the same question, i successfully linked bridge to ableton but for some reason whenever i maximize ableton window splice app will end up behind the daw,

eyy i was feelin the house vibe beat here. yeah fl studio came out with their own cloud and samples are integrated in the daw didnt know splice had this now which is nice.

honestly im so torn. I really prefer the splice samples, but now they want extra cash for the plugin that was in my opinion long due. I think they should just add it to the normal sounds plan.. really not being nice to loyal customers IMHO

Yeah I don't think it's right you have to pay more for the Bridge plugin, it's not great for long time users especially as like you said, it really should have been part of the existing app. My prediction is that the Sounds plan will become legacy soon and they may just migrate everyone from Sounds to Sounds + but for the same price for legacy users. Of course you can upgrade now if you want that new feature immediately but obviously you're paying the extra.

newbie here, if my song is in G major, how am I able to determine if the transpose is in major or minor? The only options I see are sharp/flat, how can I tell which is major or minor inthe tranpose

How do splice credits work?

For your Splice subscription you will get a certain amount of credits per month (based on the plan you have) and you can use these to purchase loops, one-shot samples and synth presets from the site. Generally each loop or one-shot sample will be 1 credit each and synth presets 3 credits. There are also midi files available within some sample packs and I believe these are 3 credits each (I could be wrong, they might have changed that recently).

It should be in the plugins folder under 'Splice Bridge'. If you don't have it in there you probably don't have it installed, you'll need to make sure you're on the right plan to get it and possibly have to download the Splice app again maybe?

It's really up to you, I went for Creator because I liked the sound of the Astra plugin so want to give that a try but depending on how much I use it I may downgrade back to Sound+ in a little while. If you already have a great polysynth you use (Serum, Ana, etc) you may not really need Creator, just depends on your budget.

that's what i am feeling to and I have emailed them, there promo indicated i cn listen to all samples in sync and y=transpose before i doewn load howver it loosk like it's not the case, only already doenloaded samples (and ableton does that anyway) and a small amount , maybe 1,000 othe rsamples Vs millioons on their website. Did yoy get a result ?

All I do is find the sound that I like on splice then download it and drag the loop or sound into slice X or any sampler in my daw which gives me total control of how to chop it up change the key add effects and change the pitch effortlessly.

The Splice Bridge app is purely for previewing loops in time with your DAW, you'd still bring in the sample the way you mention when you come to use it properly

Well I was going with a black/white/yellow theme when I had the KRKs and it looked great, just haven't been arsed to change it since lol

@@DirtySecretz lol, I saw that theme after I posted with the KRK’s etc.. But the yellow cord in the foreground is super distracting. At least to me. Black will disappear with the boom arm of your mic stand. Great content you have. Keep it up!

Splice is just sample magic vs loopmasters. And id take Sample magic every day of the week to be frank. Much better quality and sound selection than 'loopcloud'. I have the whole catalog of both on hard drives, but still. If ur new. Choose splice

For me that's very much how I see it, the catalog is great. I do use Loopcloud as well but my hit rate for finding something I like is much higher on Splice.

I showed it in the video, you use the Splice Bridge VST. I don't know if that is compatible with Reason, I haven't used it for years but you can find out more about the plugin from the Splice website.
