Even skill is arguable, and shifu is definitely more experienced, being in his late 60s, early 70s, while Splinter is usually in his 40s, to 50s, sometimes even younger if hes the mutated pet rat version, and not the mutated human version, which, when combined with information from the shows that shows how many more adventures, and battles hes been through, the teams hes been apart of, and his training, would compensate for his arguably lesser skill

i'd personally give the win to Splinter, due to the fact if where going off composite stuff, Rise of the tmnt splinter gives him crazy speed feats. now i'd argue shifu is just a tad bit stronger, but splinter is the better at stealth. he a grand master ninja for Shell sake. if it came down to it Splinter wouldn't just fight shifu head on, if he can't over power him, he'd rely on his ninja skills of stealth and silent movement to get the jump on shifu and wear him down.

As much as I’d like to say that Shifu wins I do believe Splinter can as well. Here are some trivia and random stuff I have found. Do note I refer to Kung Fu Panda as KFP: WARNING: This is not to be taken seriously as it’s only something I noticed in the video which has some incredible points BTW. And he mentioned the lasers!? Dang it!!! During the video it’s shown in some clips that Splinter dodged LASER BEAMS with absolute ease. Now as I think everyone knows laser beams travel at the speed of light, thus this gives Splinter light speed reaction and this lights onto my next point (I AIN’T GUILTY!) According to my search and what I know/ remember is that according to a character stats wiki I found some versions of Splinter have speeds greater than Shifu who seems to have subsonic speed levels as for example the 2012 TMNT series Splinter has shown to be able to go at speeds such as hypersonic or maybe more. That shows in his reaction time as he has swiftly evaded laser beams shot from a gun at what I can assume is close range by some humanoid tiger guy with an eyepatch (my character knowledge on this series is rusty, well more like I don’t know enough other than Casey, April, the main turtles, Venus, Slash, Bebop, Rocksteady, Shredder, Karai, Leatherhead and Splinter himself. Oh and Baxter because he became a bug man). Anyway this Splinter has shown to be able to react at least 5+x the speed of light (plz correct if I made a mistake here as this is my first time doing an analysis like this😅). Oh wait this is about his run speed, but this works as well as some versions of himself are able to reach these speeds with absolute ease Then again the KFP franchise is filled with insane mystical feats that Shifu may have done, though Splinter himself has also done a few himself such as achieving so much peace that when he meditates he can levitate in midair. I’m gonna be honest here with the research I’ve done on the feats when it comes to the mystical feats Shifu beats Splinter in a lot of ways, though they are comparable in speed, knowledge and being very durable which leads into my next bit again (no puns as I can’t think of any for this) Both rodents have survived insane stuff over the years. If we were to combine all the Splinters into one then we’d have a rodent master who may potentially wallop Shifu a thousand times or so. As far as I know since most of this search was focused on Splinter and how fast speed and reaction speeds are Shifu hasn’t had anything that could CRUSH SOMEONE fall onto him like Splinter has a ton of times. Splinter has had buildings fall on top of him and he was even thrown around by Super Shredder who still killed him in the end in the 2012 series. Sorry for spoiling Splinter’s death in that amazing show with an insanely epic theme song. Anyway the point being that Splinter has basically survived a lot of things that may have potentially ended Shifu. I wonder if Shifu has survived anything more deadly than Splinter like a firework cannonball in KFP2!!! That’s probably the best feat I know Shifu has done that rivals Splinter having buildings and stuff collapse on him. Now for the finale: We are back at speed because that’s what I focused on here … Psych!! This is about another of Splinter’s many abilities: sensing an opponent! And his strength While he may not have chi as far as I’m aware I am aware of how strong some versions are like how his 2012 incarnation can detect an incoming opponent’s attack and counter swiftly. Oh and he sent a humanoid croc flying a few times and even bested Shredder who survived being crunched by the same croc and also fighting off other attackers during that same scene! However despite all their shared and similar tricks Splinter has one vital one that I think deserves a section itself While Shifu and Splinter has taught similar things Splinter however is a ninja who apparently also has psychic powers, though I honestly don’t know that much as I only just found out his 2012 incarnation has such powers and yet his jaw can bite through certain types of metal. Now let’s assume that every other version of Splinter has this jaw strength for second. The bite force is enough to break Shredders’ metal claw blades and that is a lot of pressure, though I don’t exactly know what he can’t bite through. However if he can bite through metal then he should theoretically be able to bite through bone and Shifu’s cane with absolute ease. Can he theoretically bite through bone? Don’t know, but he could Okay I was not this to be so long and if anyone has managed to read through this the semi-TL;DR version is simple: Splinter is possibly faster than Shifu and could possibly end the fight quickly if he chooses to as he refuses to kill (I think) no matter what. The two masters have similar abilities, but I think Splinter wins as this will come down to who can evade the other the longest which Splinter has the edge as unlike Shifu (as far as I know anyway) Splinter is trained in the sacred, yet beautiful art of stealth and this should give him a huge edge. He can also stun you like Shifu can and through this technique which I do believe he used against the Rat King and Shredder he can send foes flying and break a limb with ease. This doesn’t mean Shifu can’t win it’s just that the 2 are far too equal and deciding a winner is just difficult. I mean even then if we literally combine every version of Splinter then Shifu most likely may lose, but could still win

He's durable enough to take most of Unalaq's attacks (except any piercing attacks), he's much faster and more agile so he can dodge most of them, and while Unalaq's water spout will make it very very difficult for Tai Lung to tag him, he only really needs 1 hit to finish Unalaq. Unalaq does have the AP, Versatility, Mobility and Tactics to win a few rounds out of 10, but overall I'd side with Tai Lung for a majority.
