People are getting stupid, I'm mean it. These are reaction channels, different people watch movies and they migh like them or not, and that's the fun of it. Listening to their opinions & perspectives, being amused by how they edit the video. People should not have to apologize for NOT ENJOYING A PIECE OF MEDIA, are we crazy? Specially when you have certain expectations or a movie is sell in a way and it happens to be something totally different. Chuu!

Sometimes these youtubers need to learn and accept that there is no winning with people, ever, especially online. People will ALWAYS find an excuse to complain, whine, and disagree with you. Take apology videos for instance, even apologizing will often make the fans hate them more because they will find excuses like you're being false etc. Literally even Mrbeast gets hate and people who hate him when he cures blindness and builds wells in Africa, there is no winning with people and one has to just accept that. Just go with those that still like you no matter what your opinions

I don’t get people that watch reactions videos but they want the reactor to have the exact same opinion and reaction that they did for validation 💀if they loved long legs thats great but don’t push that onto other people. I also think that’s why many reaction channels aren’t authentic because the reactors tells the people what they want to hear 😬

this movie was so gooood. like its really bad for portraying people with DID like literal monsters but it wouldve been great plot wise apart from that. Unbreakable is one of my favourite films ever though and its the first in the 3 part series by M Night (1st is Unbreakable, 2nd is Split, 3rd is Glass) Defo recommend. @QVESTMusic 28 күн бұрын
Yeah.. after watching this reaction is clear that while the story of Split is great; it's harmfulness against disorders like DID, OCD, etc. requires you to do some research after the film because, no people with OCD don't need everything "perfect"; they just have habits and routines that they just "have to do". For example, my friend would have to do two laps around a store in order to leave. Not because it was "perfect" or anything, but because if she didn't then every inch of her body would feel wrong and she would be severely uncomfortable until she had done it. DID on the other hand is scary like you say, but for different reasons. Majority of people with DID aren't bad people like in the film, rather they have had terrible things done to them in their childhood; which is how DID forms inside someone. The "System" (which is how they refer to themselves and their being) is set up in a way that create different alters (characters you could say) for different situations. Unlike in the film, some alters will rarely ever come out and a System will usually have one specific alter at the "front" (or at the wheel) who controls the system from day to day. The scary element of this comes in the first word of the condition; Dissociative. Each alter will only have the memories of their own actions unless told by another alter and so suddenly coming to in the middle of a task you have no recollection of starting is the scary aspect. Often when switching between alters, the person will completely dissociate and being in a state where you are so vulnerable can also be highly frightening. Overall, this is a great fictional film but I wouldn't take any aspects of its messages on disorders and mental health into reality. Just thought I would make this message for you, and anyone else confused on the conditions of DID and OCD, so you wouldn't have to go out of your way to do all the research :)

@@Chuuzus This is just a long extplantation of how DID affects some people if you're interested: I'm dating a system with DID and they all are the sweetest, most kind people i've ever met. They are all so different but none of them would ever hurt someone. Sure, there probably are cases where someone with DID is violent, but there are millions of murders commited by non DID systems. DID comes from extreme, repeated trauma while the person is very young. This child is expreiencing so much trauma, they are unable to form a solid identity. This is how alters are made. Demonizing people who come from extreamly traumatizing childhoods, and making them seem like monsters is so dangerous. The thinking this movie perpetuates is why my partner has only told 3 people in their lives about their DID. Can you imagine how issolating that must be? To never be able to tell people your name, because they assume you're another person. To never be seen as who you really are. To be in the head and not know whats happening outside until you switch in (although they sometimes they do have some shared memories). Half of the alters in my partner's body are men and half are women. This means no matter how they present, its imposible to avoid making half the brain extreamly dysphoric. If Aaron fronts (comes out and is able to interact with the outside world) he may want to present as a man, and he'll dress like one. But then a girl alter fronts and gets dysphoric and needs to change, and then a male alter switches in again etc. There is a term called a host, which is whatever alter fronts the most, which gives them alot more responsibility. My partner's old host was a man, and because he thought he would be the host for a long time, he transitioned. He started taking hormones and was considering gender affirming surgery. But then he went dormant forever. This means he's gone from the outside world forever. Honestly, it feels like he's dead. They all have different wants and needs. All of them want different careers, but they obviously cant work 30+ (yes they have 30+ alters) jobs at once. They have to put aside their dreams aside. They all have different genders and sexualities. I'm only dating a couple of them and am friends with the rest.

I love this film, obviously it portrays people with did as violent and clinically insane and that’s horrible but James’s acting is incredible! It’s so easy to believe each alter is an entirely different person and forget it’s James for a second, the way he switches from to Dennis in the session is so subtle yet effective.

I saw this in theater, and of course no one knew this was a secretly connected to Unbreakable. So when Bruce Willis came on screen the entire theater went WILD! I'm not a huge M. Night fan, but Split is up there with his best. Oddly enough I still haven't watched Glass. I'll get to it eventually, but it got spoiled for me so I've never been in a rush to watch. I'm gonna recommend something for you to watch in your own time not in the channel. But our love Toni Collette plays a character with multiple personalities in a show called United States of Tara. She unsurprisingly kills it!

I didn't like Long Legs that much, it wasn't scary for me and I didn't enjoy how it went from murder mystery to supernatural killer out of nowhere. Split however is one of M. Night Shyamalan's better films, and I'm so glad you got the Unbreakable reference at the end! Glass, aka the last film in the trilogy had a twist I didn't like, but it's still worth a watch if you liked this and Unbreakable.
