Actually, congratulations to both of you for keeping and making this game continue to be relevant, fun to play and fun to watch people play. Thank you 🎉 I will continue to watch this channel and game for as long as you continue to make episodes and improvements to the game!🧑🏻🚀👨🏼🚀🧑🏼🚀 on a personal note. I hope we get a space engineers two, and the series is able to continue in to the new game if that happens, so that we continue to have our sci-fi space adventures. I am very hopeful that the new game allows character selection, that has a roll function. Everyone is still an engineer😅 and able to build all essential blocks, but if you pick a mercenary you have better weapons, reload speed, aim assist special customization to those blocks and they’re slightly more stylized blocks with perks to that class. if you’re a minor, you have better ore detection, drills cost less, mining is faster with a larger radius, and you’re yield for mining is much higher, rare or hard to find ores are easier to find. you choose tycoon, industry fabrication assemblers are cheaper, power creation cost less and produces more output. Welders are faster, grinders are more efficient,, medic health buff, possibly able to build shields, he will be heal the needs of other players, other players able to respond at medic, would give bonuses to communication blocks, cameras, remote controls, and reactors. Pirate possibly my favorite options for this type, hijacking other player control blocks made easier, free access to any containers regardless of ownership, very low cost to welding pads or merge blocks, overdrive abilities on power and weapon blocks, special jump drives, the ability to track the location of other jump drives. you could tweak each character to have special perks that would be associated with those blocks, and I hope our skins for characters could also look like an alien race-or a robot. It would also be nice to have organic life / alien life that just makes the universe feel more lived in, that doesn’t need to attack you unless provoked and could maybe be utilized as a resource but not necessary. I believe this could help change things to feel more lived in beyond AI and PVP. You’re all doing a fantastic job. And I hope we all get to keep doing this for, I don’t know 20 years.😅

Why isn't it more common to cover explodey blocks with gyroscopes? (For example those jump drives at 1:20:45 that are right under the top armor.) The gyros provide a decent amount of armor that bullets have to go through before the sensitive blocks can be damaged. And eplodey blocks are the only blocks where you can safely say that if they go then you have bigger problems than loose gyroscopes. And if you slap gyroscopes onto jump drives rather than gas tanks, then you can also benefit from the fact that the gyros will sit on a block with a large amount of HP. And in your case, there's space for 72 gyros on the jump drives, while the shelves gave you 96, and they used up the extra space. (Which admittedly was the objective, but the space could also have given you more jump drives.)
@Splitsie3 ай бұрын
For me it's entirely aesthetics, peppering everything with gyros looks similarly bad to when you cover your borg cube in guns. Sure, it's going to be the 'most effective' in a fight, but it's also ugly as sin :D

Epically awesome finale to season 1, and I look forward to not just season 2 but any new projects and series you guys create too thanks Splitsie and everyone for so much entertainment, it truly brightens up the monotony and bad days and mediocre days truly better 🙂

I found the Assertive Acquisitions series not long after you started it and I have loved occasionally bingeing it in the back ground. Congrats on 100 episodes. Looking forward to many more.
