Ohh yeah! Nice work brother...heck of a load of wood ya had there! That splitter is nice, interesting how it breaks down/goes together. Looks like it makes it easy for moving around & storing. Dang that’s one Awesome looking shirt! lol 😀👍🤟👊

Gettin a splitter tomorrow. Great splitter you got there. I've seen you before on Back40. Super chat! Awesome!

Nice what splitter are you getting ? The Rugged Split 737 is awesome for the price. compared to the other commercial splitters its performance is right there with them just not built as heavy duty. Those other splitters are out of my price range though. Thanks for your comments I love the interaction you get with KZbin.

Nice setup! Do you use the cylindar stop pin. Seems like if you use that it would be even faster. I really like the adjustable wedge! Those are some perfect sized splitting rounds. I thought about getting a Ruggedmade, but my Harbor Freight dual 4 way splitter is still kicking so have to wait. I also bought a older splitter that I'm going to beef up with a bigger motor and pump. Then make a 4 way for it. Cheers!

Wood-n-Yard Junkie yeah there is a stop bar I could install but I find it more of a pain then what it’s worth. I do love this splitter it is a beast.

I've tried to find that 6 way wedge when pricing one but seems like they do not make it anymore.

I purchased this one from amazon. I talked to mark from Rugged Made and he said they should be back in stock soon.

Nice wood splitting setup...but you need a microphone. It's kind of hard to hear you. I turn it up to hear what you are saying then need to turn it down when you start the splitter.

Is that hydraulic wedge a factory option? Looking at the specs on that 37 ton unit, it doesn’t say anything about it being there
@OutsidewithScheib3 жыл бұрын
No I modified it

@@OutsidewithScheib ahh, I watched the modification video after posting that comment. I’ll likely copy your design for that wedge. Thanks for the content!

What was the Mod to your 37? Im still undecided on my wood splitter purchase. I need to be able to split seasoned Eucalyptus 16"-30" rounds about 18" long. Not sure if the ruggedmade 37 can split very hard wood. Dealer said know guaranties on Eucalyptus. I really dont want to spend 8-13k on a splitter.

I have a few more splitting videos so you can see how it works. I am not to familiar with Eucalyptus so i cant help you with that question. I run a lot of Oak through mine and it handles it fine. Split some stringy Hack Berry probably 40" round with it also did well also.

@@OutsidewithScheib Euc is an evergreen hardwood, I think close to red oak. I'm really torn on buying my first, hopefully only wood splitter. I have a small mountain of Euc rounds to get at, but I just cant pull the trigger on a splitter. Rugged Made 37, $3,795.00 shipped. Wolf Ridge Pro35 $8100.00 and change shipped. EastenMade, forget about it, 12k plus. How long have you owned your 37 and do you run it hard? I really appreciate your time. The more I can learn from real world users on the 37 the better.
@OutsidewithScheib4 жыл бұрын
I have had it 2 years I spilt roughly 20 to 25 cord a year probably more this year. I don’t baby it that for sure. The 6 way is not recommended for use with the splitter according to Mark @ruggedmade. Although it has split everything I have thrown at it. It’s not as heavy duty as the Wolfe or Easton but as for power it is there.
@henryholliday14 жыл бұрын
I had the 22 ton version of this exact machine I would never buy ruggedmade ever again I wound up selling it and I am saving up for a eastonmade 9-16 with the 4 way and 6 way wedges buy once and cry once is how I look at it

Hey brother whats shaking nice splitter i may sell mine ive been eye balling this 37 ton with lift for couple months now have good day bro iam trying to get in woods been sick 4 week now lol , time for some Hennessy
@OutsidewithScheib4 жыл бұрын
Lol yeah I don’t get sick much but I do hurt myself often lol this splitter is worth the money just wish it came with an adjustable wedge for an extra grand or so but you can MOD it like i did and have a really nice splitter. Now it’s not as heavy duty as the Wolfe ridge or Easton made but it gets the job done. Hope you feel better soon and get out there to get wood. Thanks for stopping in.

Nice video, great job on the mod, I have a 22 ton just like this I think I am going to do mine this way now as well! I found a 6 way for this spliter just tonight at www.zwajcommall.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=609294 but I don't trust the site just yet to order. I am a sub of back40 and I enjoy outdoors with the Morgans as well. I will have to put off my mod of my 22ton for now just had a complete knee replacement due to a forklift hitting me years a go, but I will be back out outside soon!
@OutsidewithScheib4 жыл бұрын
That is a great price but not sure if I would trust it either. I got mine from amazon mark from rugged made said they should be back in stock by the end of this week but it is twice the price as the one you found.
