Yes you are correct and I think I’ve got things pretty much sorted out. I’ve since made two more upgrades, an adjustable return stop that is adjustable to whatever length of rounds I’m splitting (saves a lot of time). Then I fabricated a removable attachment for the wedge for wet fibrous wood to aid in spreading it apart quicker. I made a short vid on those. The only thing I really would like to see is some close ups of exactly how the cable system works. Really nicely done video.

Thank you and I plan to make one last video as I’ve made a few more improvements and will try to dial in better on the cable system. Definitely gonna try to make one of these lifts for mine. Looks simple and i should have all the parts already.
