And Jensen later confirmed that the reason dean wasn't with Cass was bc he thought angels couldn't feel love in that sense. Also he had to do a voice over in ep 18, bc they took out most of the script of dean and Cass during the confession. I get it if u don't ship it or whatever, but then why are u here? One thing I notice about Cas is that he takes word literally, like when Benny called him "aunt" he would be like "no, I'm not your aunt, there's no way we are related blah blah", but he didn't make any correction whenever someone makes any remark about him and Dean. There's one deleted scene in season 10 when Crowley called Dean Cas' bf and he didn't retaliate either. It's funny that they've dropped hints like these for years and now that it's canon, the hate is everywhere :(

I feel like the writers left the destiel ship open-ended with the finale. Like, we know for a fact that Castiel is in love with Dean, but we get to choose for ourselves whether Dean was in love with Cas back (even though it isn’t technically canon that Dean is in love with Cas back). I think we can make a pretty accurate inference given all of the destiel scenes in the show. Also, after Cas dies for the “final time” (hilarious bc we know that even then he doesn’t stay dead), Dean just sits against the wall, sagging in defeat, and just starts sobbing (at least, that’s how I remember it)… with Castiel’s handprint still on his shoulder. I mean yeah, his best friend just died, but the way he reacts to Castiel’s death is different than how he reacted to Benny, Charlie, Kevin- even Bobby- even John, Mary, Jo, Ellen, Ash, Pamala, etc. He 100% did not act the same with their deaths as he did with Castiel’s. Like the pure heartbreak and confusion over his confession… that scene was such a powerful one, and it has me crying every time I watch it.

But when you love someone romantically, you want them to be from your family, but there is fear that they will leave, you project yourself but you know that it will not happen.Later, Dean pigeonholes Jack as a son, but without hesitation later said that Jack was not one of the family, that he was not Sam and that he was not like Cas. But it looked as an excuse to me: First he has a six pack but drank it all (maybe need some corage to do sth, who knows?) 😉 and then he called Cas to went with him because Sam was busy, he knew Sam wouldn't came with them anyways leaving the bunker alone with Rowena, Crowley and Chuck! (Besides: Crowley settle to drink scotch and Rowena and Chuck would drink tea) Second: he drove quite awhile till try to start a conversation with Cas there, who was quite and brooding about Lucifer' failure against Amara. At last but not least: He interrupted Cas about sth, maybe sth important is was about to say (so rude!) I guess the whole chat was beggining to sound too sentimental for him. 😂

@@missnonperfect8699 Ah, sorry I was on canon mode, not looking for the meaning mode lol But thinking about it, it doesn't fully add up that Dean would leave Sam on his own with an ailing god, a not trusted witch (at the time) and the king of hell. I mean, beer is important, but not THAT important to him... and we know that Cas does 'always enjoy their talks' and they hadn't had chance much since Lucifer was pulled from Cas. Technically they haven't seen each other in months, so... It wouldn't surprise me if Dean hid the beer they had, or poured it away

Besides he just could drink with Crowley or ask him to make magical appear some beer or sth less suspicious! But No: He just want to talk to Cas alone. In his car. Taking his damn time. Drive him to only he knows Where in a long, long, long way for a "beer run" before he became a Unabomber, man-bomber or whatever and die. Mmmh, not suspicious At all. 😉😉😉

@@missnonperfect8699 The best one for me was when Cas was graceless and went on his 'date' *cough* babysitting *cough* . Afterwards, when the mom gets back later that evening Cas asked Dean for a ride. Dean drops him off at work the next morning.... where did they go that night??? cause we know Cas didn't have a place he was sleeping where he worked (that was also the first episode written by Bobo, who wrote 15x18)
