I see myself so much in Dean whether it is the bisexuality, the daddy issues, the self-hate, always trying to help everyone but himself. I see myself in him SO MUCH. He deserved better - I DESERVE BETTER. He did not deserve that fully out of character last episode, that bi-erasure, that death. His death literally said to me: "No matter what you do, you can only be happy if you die." That is an AWFUL message. That took all of my hope and put it in the trash and burned it. It said to me that I am invalid as a bisexual person, as a person whose life sucked so much at so many times, as a person who wants to get better. It SHOWED that I am INVALID. Even if Dean does not have "gay feelings" for Cass (which he does, OBVIOUSLY), he still DIDN'T deserve to die just to be HAPPY. HE DID NOT HAVE TO DIE TO BE WHOLE. But that is what they fully implied, that he could not be happy without death. WOW. Jensen himself said "Death is not a good story ending." and he was right. I think that is why he has been so quiet after the finale. He always said "I am and will always be protective of Dean." and he IS. He probably HATED the finale. ;(

To kill him off (in such a dumb way too) as his “happy ending” like WTF. Truly, what terrible message to send the spn community, that is filled with people dealing with mental illness. Honestly, glad I wasn’t currently suicidal when I watched the episode, because all I thought afterward was hopeless and like welp there you have it, death is my happy ending. That’s not the message at all. Dean died doing what he loved, hunting, and he didn’t have any regrets, which is why he died happy. The show could only end with one or both of the brothers dead, and Sam always wanted a normal life and he got it. The ending wasn’t bad

Earlier in the prayer, he said he hoped Cas would hear him, and Cas very clearly did. So it’s not about forgiveness. So then, what was it? What was it that Dean wanted, _needed_ to tell him? What’s something that’s even more important than saying he forgives Cas?
