Gotta say I'm a little bummed you guys are pulling the 7.3 out of McFlurry. That engine platform has a lot more left in it. The head gasket issues could be fixed by shimming the cuts between the cylinders and adding fire rings for better sealing. You guys would certainly benefit from Brian Wolfe's Godzilla build and referencing a few of his tricks. Glad to see, however that the obvious replacement is another Ford engine. Definitely gonna enjoy the upcoming McFlurry Coyote content 😉

Stock blocks have very thin cylinder walls, harmonics issues with the FPC, crankcase pressure issues, the list goes on. It doesn't seem like a Voodoo would be a viable engine at the competitive level because of how exotic it is and how small the aftermarket is for them when comparing it to the Coyote aftermarket.

An idea to make Mullet faster. Adopt other discipline practises: Promod: burnout to 330, launch off your own rubber you just laid down. LOW tire pressures + slowmo of deformation. Increase the contact patch EVEN MORE on launch and finally crank the boost. Not an expert, just watched a lotta promod development and all that :")
