Its because of THIS moment that Oathbringer is my absolute favorite of the series, I'll grant you that all the other books had some fantastic and unforgettable moments but none feel as POWERFUL as this one. This is why Dalinar is my absolute favorite character of the series, Blackthorn is such a god damn badass.

I agree. This is just the so epic. It is a conclusion of Dalinar's way, but it is not the end. I do not know what to write else.

@@passdoutcouchpotatos Please. This isn't the best scene. All of them are the best scenes! Brandon Sanderson is just a great author. Even the wors scenes give other scenes context making them better. You can't have the one scene without the rest.

I love Renarin's voice in this, he sounds like such a nerd and I'm 100% here for it. The rest is pretty good, 9/10 the audio feels just a little too fast.

Who knows.Personally I don't think there will be a second fusing like that of mistborn shards. And Brandon did spoil that Dalinar's ending is already been said in book 1 but we just aren't aware.

The thing I love most about this is it's a essentially a direct refutation of characters that say "I am what you made me." Edit. And I hate those kind of characters.

I am someone who usually doesnt like audiobookd, preferring actual reading. But theese audiobooks are capable of rivaling it. Also I wonder how glory spren are related to the spiritual realm.

This might not be the best segment to show what graphic audio is capable of. I prefer Kramer/reading narration but man Graphic audio brings stormlight to life very well and they do such a fantastic job on some scenes! I love both.

I personally wouldn't call it the best but it's a very strong scene. People often underestimate the strength and meaning in simple scenes with family values.

Agreed, I just re listened to this part read by Michael Kramer, I much prefer his voice acting edit, especially with narration sections

Yes, I very much prefer Michael Kramer's version! Howerver graphic audio is a different thing altogether and I guess concessions need to be made sometimes. Even then, I wish they had given it a more impactful voice to represent odium fully, maybe toss in some effect like with the stormfather.

I honestly prefer this one actually, he plays the part of a seemingly kindly old man, an understanding voice as sweet as honey yet laced with terrible poison. Its a good front for the horrible evil he truly is.
