I love that there’s no music in the beginning and then it builds. Very powerful. I’m trying to get better with my spoken word.

Hi Emily. I was touched by just listening to your beautiful words. Spoken poetry indeed is a retelling of the story of our lives. A life that is painful, but still there is still hope to move on and realize that God is greater than us. So, c'est la vie. Life is still beautiful after all. Forget the past and move on.

It takes courage, sincerity´and care to write such poetry. Your voice and the way you recite it even added to the quality of your poem. It made it more original, more real, more human. This was not only your poem, but the heart talk of many. Thank you for being the voice of many.

You have all the time in the world to not be productive, but it's only when you stop being productive that you truly know what you want in this world. Be the voice for what others want to say, and others will speak to you so you can Yell them out for the world to hear! lol Cheesy but there's a meaning in there somewhere.

Very profound, intense, and inspiring words! I also loved how you presented the poem with such emotion and vulnerability in your voice; the hesitation and pauses occur just at the right moments, and the melancholy music perfectly complements the piece. Outstanding and beautiful work! Super like 294! You're extremely talented! Best regards, Michelle (P.S. I already signed up for you a few days ago.)

How I feel about having to confess that I did fully believe I had move on because the beautiful woman that I promised that I give you a few years to get your life where you want it and where we both need for us. It's hard to deal with depression living in regret and only in hindsight do you see where you went wrong. For myself it was realizing that I was holding so much hurt sadness pain from not just my mistakes but the person that I love mistakes with us that isn't living at all but now I can smile again because for the first times in quite awhile I have alot to be grateful for a bunch of new friends and yes even possibly family. But I always want my most beautiful to know how proud I am of her and how much I do truly love her. I miss you am very excited for our new start

This video came up randomly on my screen, and that's why i find myself here. Emily, it's not enough to tell you that this piece was well written, well spoken (and it was), because all that means is that someone got entertained for about 4 minutes, wanted to clear their conscience, and having written a comment, forgot what you presented here. You're correct: This is not interested in the painful and not so pretty side of us; they don't care because each and everyone is hurting, some more than i do, others much less. The question is: What will you do about it, and for that matter, what will i do about it? Yeah, we're all those things you illustrated, that each and every one of us wants to keep in the shadows, lest others see those facets of us, and choose to reject us. Someone called Jesus was despised, rejected of men, HE was a man of sorrows. But HE completed HIS task in spite of the rejection, both past, current and future. You don't have to remain in those blemishes, you can walk a different path. And yeah, there will be that voice that reminds you, just as it reminds me about what has happened, but you can still overcome it. Overcome it.

Spoken Word Illusions Wow. I don’t know what to say. Thank you for your kind and lovely words and your deep thoughts.
@spokenwordillusions57565 жыл бұрын
i forgot that we've never formally met. my primary reason for leaving a comment is to let the author of the video know that i viewed the video in question (after all, i upload videos, and wonder many times whether anybody has seen them). i don't know about other people (particularly those who function in spoken word), but i don't seek the applause, but only to reach somebody; give them something to ponder. To simply tell you "Cool video!" is kind of like saying "Thank you for entertaining me.", when you're looking to do more than just entertain. So i sought to answer with specifics, and sometimes i forget to make clear of what parts of the video i did like. What i liked about your videos i've seen thus far is first and foremost, they were original, not just something mimicked from someone you admire. Second, your verse is current, not from the past, and therefore, third: Your message hit home. Not only could i relate to it, but it kept me alert from beginning to end. Because you replied, i now can return to the channel and view your other videos. If the rest are anything like the two i viewed, i will eventually subscribe to this channel. Don't change who you are; i like these facets of you, even if others consider them less than pretty.

I can observe that many people are lying, not you, I am now questioning whether this Goal has the existence of deception? The system is artificially manipulated and lacks fairness! Everyone has mistakes in the past. The most important thing is to correct them. Don't repeat them. Men must have a sense of responsibility. This is very important! So why do I focus on personal integrity and conscience, if you feel very unhappy is a good tip, this tip is the need for personal self-examination and improvement, I have observed that you are overprotected and spoiled because I have a Relatives behave like you.
