Wow, I'm blown away! I love how you are able to explain such dense ideas in such a poetic yet succinct way so that I can really grasp it! I'm a new Christian and I remember trying to blow through Leviticus because I was so...well disturbed by all of the animal sacrifices and the blodd spattered alters. I just didn't get it. But that line "We have to see how much it costs to take our stains and make them white. We need to see that something has to die to take our darkness and make it light." suddenly I understand by the imagery was so detailed and gruesome, but in reading it alone I didn't understand the message behind it, which you so clearly illustrated through this amazing piece of art! THANK YOU!

if the priesthood make the atonement for the people, who make it for them since they are too human? IF THEY DID IT FOR HIMSELF, SINCE IS ONLY MAN,, WHY CAN EVERYONE DO IT FOR SELF? THAT IS NOT FAIR STORY TELLINGS.
@SpokenGospel4 жыл бұрын
Great question! The Bible actually points this out as one of the reasons the priesthood has to be abolished and why it was only temporary. Hebrews 5 says that the priest could offer sacrifices on behalf of others because of one important point: they were given that right by God. They were chosen for that role. However, the priests could not be a perfect atonement for sin because they had to atone for themselves too (as you pointed out). Read Hebrews 10 to learn about that. That is why we need Jesus. He is the final chosen “priest” who makes final atonement for us. He does not have to make atonement for himself because he is perfect and lives forever to make us right with God. I hope this helps.

It may seem convoluted but I feel like this makes sense. We have to have some assurance that we are in good standing with GOD. These helped TEMPORARILY. GOD found a way to make this assurance eternal and that is through Christ.

at 0:40 the image used to resemble God's light, that shape reminds me of the coffin seen on the Master Mason (3rd degree) tracing board. The day of Atonement is celebrated today as "Yom Kippur". Isn't there a part in Leviticus where two goats are offered, one gets sacrificed and the other is set free into the wilderness? The goat set free is called the "scape-goat". (A goat is an important symbol to the occult and is symbolized by an inverted pentagram?). Also the "Goyim" (also known as the "Chattle"...human cattle) can be offered as a sacrifice, because they are just animals?

Oh my wow, I knew where it was heading even though Iv read the gospels but Iv just started on Leviticus it’s the one book for years Iv ignited because I couldn’t get it, yiu come along with this series and wow I knew it was great tge bibke I knew the offerings of the lamb were the first prophecies if gage ultimate perfect lamb tgst was to die for our sins I knew it was leading up to it and I’m 42 years old male and I was in tears, God is amazing he’s a genius he glorious he’s perfect I can’t even see what I’m typing now as still in tears he gave the ultimate sacrifice when he didn’t have to do it he could have let us destroy ourselves but he came down as flesh within his only son, only Jesus Christ could die for our sins because to pay for our sins you needed to meet the following criteria; Must be Born in Bethlehem Born at an Inn (ancient wine cellar) Be visited by wise men Be given Gold, frankincense, Myrrh Be raised and protected in Egypt Be took to Nazareth Be called a Nazarene Be perfect Be sinless Born to a virgin Be baptised Perform wondrous miracles Preach and teach on Temple Mount Ride into Jerusalem on a donkey Heal the sick Cast out devils Had to be persecuted Suffer in the desert against the devils temptations, for forty days and forty nights “He was wounded for our transgressions Crushed for our inequities By his wounds we are healed” Isaiah 52-53 Must be tortured Must die on the cross (crucified by nails driven into hands and feet) Be called King of the Jews Come from the House of David, be a direct descendant of the House of David Must be able to defeat death Rise from the dead 3 days later Destroy the temple Be witnessed by over 2,500 people after death, Roman soldiers will write about what they can’t believe they have seen, a dead man rise from the dead Visit his 12 disciples Ascend to heaven Have his story told by four gospels He had to meet all this criteria and more, of what was prophesied in the Old Testament, by Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Deuteronomy, Leviticus, Numbers, and more. Over 450 Prophecies So only Jesus Christ met all the criteria, only Jesus Christ our only God, our Only King, Our Only Lord, Our Only Saviour. I thank you Jesus Christ with every piece of my soul for giving me the greatest gift of all history, “Life” and entering your creation to die for our sins, to be the perfect lamb. I thank the makers of this epic, amazing, beautiful, inspiring, jaw dropping video, Thank You and May God Bless All Who watch and don’t watch. He is the everlasting to everlasting eternal living God. 4.5 billion believers. 4.5 billion souls saved. We are all children of God how amazing is that.

Moving video. In Matthew 7:24 Jesus instructs us that everyone that hears his words and DOES them are Wise and those that hear and don’t obey his words are foolish. This relates to the parable of the wise and foolish virgins in Matthew 25 who. At the end of the age (now), we’re both given the opportunity to come up to a higher understanding of scripture (grace) but only a few came.any are called, few are chosen (Mathew 20:16). Jesus words are parables which lead us into the mysteries of scripture as explained by Jesus at Mathew 11:3 and Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 4, 13 and 14. The light is in the mysteries or understanding the parables which only those of maturity, the fathers in the faith can teach. It’s called “grace”. Apostle Paul said “this GRACE was given to ME for you in Ephesians 3:2. The Book of Leviticus is full of mysteries. It’s the most difficult book to understand yet it holds the keys to the kingdom of God. Every sacrifice is a parable for things within us that need to be sacrificed to come into the light. Jesus made a way by showing us how to follow him and learn the mysteries of scripture through the Holy Spirit and his apostles (later called bishops) (fathers). The tabernacle of Moses is symbolic of us. Jesus said “Don’t you know you are the temple?” In 1 Corinthians 3:16. The apostles or fathers are like the high priests who carry Jesus within them and show us how to become high priests through the process of sacrificing our old ways in the outer court, eating the bread (learning and understanding the word) in the holy place, becoming the light of the menorah (having the holy spirit anointing to open up the mysteries of scripture), being able to pray to God with understanding ( taking the coals from the altar if sacrifice and burning sweet incense to God at the altar of incense and then moving through the veil (the apocalypse - having eyes to see and ears to hear - the mysteries

Some believe you should have good works along with your faith to achieve salvation. Others insist on saying that we are saved by faith and not by works. I study the symbols in the bible. If I can not attach/correlate a doctrine taught in the new testament to a doctrine/symbol taught in the old testament, then the idea gets shelved until I firmly disprove it or prove it. Just as a for instance, baptism. Some people insist that only a sprinkling is needed. Then I make the connection of Jesus washing his followers feet. Then He tells them to do likewise. hands are washed in service to others. If no one washes your feet, Jesus will. The foot and hand washing in the old testament had to be performed before a priest could enter the holy place in the tabernacle. Jesus body is the temple. His followers could not enter into the body of Jesus unless they washed their hands and feet. But for the first time a priest was to enter in the tabernacle or temple, they had to be washed head to toe with water. From then on, just hands and feet. Thus baptism by submersion is validated through old testament washing. Faith is symbolized as gold in the Old testament. It is the inside of the tabernacle and temple. This is symbolized as the inside of Jesus body. Jesus was full of faith on the inside. But on the outside of the tabernacle there was no gold. The symbols of Jesus work are in the holy place. Table of shewbread, aka the written word of God. The lampstand aka the spirit of God, eyes of God, fruit of the spirit, the shape of the almond. And the altar of incense, aka prayers ascending to God behind the veil. The gold reflected golden light from the lampstand burning golden oil. you walk into the tabernacle and you are baptized in the firelight of God's spirit. Unless those lamps stay trimmed and well kept, or if the oil runs out, the light goes out, and the gold reflects no light. Thus without works, your faith is dead. You can not have faith, without the spirit of God shining in your own tent. The works needed to illuminate faith is not feeding the poor. It is the fruit of the spirit. Patience is the work God needs to illuminate your faith. Love, Peace, Joy... The fruit of the spirit is contrasted against the works of the flesh in Galatians 5. So yes, you do need good works to be saved. But the works required are not climbing the tallest mountain, or baptizing 100 people, or making a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. Keeping the ten commandments are summed up in two rules. Love your father in heaven, and Love your fellow humans. A fruit of the spirit... Love. So yes keeping the commandments are a work. But a work of the spirit that shines out from your tent/body reflecting off your own gold/faith inside your body. to keep the wick trimmed and the fruit of the spirit still burning, you must examine your own thoughts and actions every morning when you wake up, and every evening when you go to bed. Just as the priests did, so you should be doing as a member of Christ's body.

Leviticus is the Book wherein God condones slavery, and people accept this on the grounds that it was OK back then, but not now. Alternative hypothesis: slavery was never OK and God made a big mistake in condoning it.
