BRITISH RAILWAYS IN THE 1990's
Water Orton Station (Birmingham) on 19th October 1994
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Water Orton Station not far from Birmingham on the line to Burton On Trent and Derby. Filmed on the 19/10/1994. Heavily used by the Cross Country services mainly comprised of HST's making their way from the South and West to the North and V.V. Some mixture of traction was witnessed such as class 31, 47, 56, 58 and 60s plus the usual 150s and 158s. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction. Many thanks for all subscriptions and all of those viewers who have kindly shown an interest in my material.
