Norton Bridge Station (Staffs) on 4th July 1994
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Norton Bridge, just north of Stafford taken on 04/07/1994. Amongst the usual class 86s, 87s and 90s the class 37 loco hauled service from Birmingham International to Holyhead was seen. It was a pretty wet day, so plenty of spray about. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction. Excellent video. A nearby station to me. Used to go there regularly on the Stoke to Stafford stopper, until the idiots stopped the service and closed the station 😡
