BR in the 1990s Tinsley Railway Yard Sheffield and Depot on 21st May 1992

My father worked at tinsley marshalling yard for 30 years, he was as shunter then went on to work in the tower. He past away in 1986. It would break his heart if he was to see it today. I use to go and watch them working, it was back breaking work. This bloody government has systematically dismantled everything that makes a country run.

Possibly Tinsleys last great year. Treeton was lost in 1993 and from then on traffic melted away.
