Canh mướp is one of my favorites! It’s really interesting to see how different families make it. My mom cooks it with whole garlic and it’s always just so comforting. BTW the English name is Luffa/Loofah-yeah, it’s literally the same plant as the ones you’d use in the shower. Or the plastic ones are based off of, anyways.

One day you'll like bitter melon just like every old folk say. To fast track and acclimate your buds, blanch the cut up bitter melon and soak it in cold water.
