I feel the need to point out that it makes perfect sense that Spongebob is able to make Krabby Patties without any training. He doesn't need to know the formula to cook and assemble the burger, the formula is for the actual composition of the patties. Plus, he already claims to be the best frycook ever, implying that he already has experience at a different restaurant. Lastly, Spongebob idolizes the Krusty Krab, and working there is his dream job, so he definitely already knows what topping go on a standard Krabby Patty

I can’t remember when I started watching it, only that whenever a new episode aired my parents, my sister and I would all watch it together and we’ve done so for years. here are some tips from the vid: 1. mr krabs was able to run his business without spongebob is bcz squidward before was able to cook krabby paties bcz he knew the secret formula, but due to the hire of spongebob, he worked as the cashier, and forgot the secret formula 2. spongebob was able to cook krabby paties bcz of an episode of kamp koral (i forgor the name of the episode), when spongebob was working at planktons restaurant, then spongebob gets the great idea to cook krabby paties also idk if kamp koral is canon so send me errors in the replies

"How does he know how to cook them?" From what I've heard, in KFC's case the spice mix or breading is already premixed in a bag. So it could be that Mr. Krabs has the secret ingredient in a bottle or pack but it doesn't specify what it is. Also, SpongeBob is passionate about his job so it could be that he practiced. Yeah, I've always wondered who was the fry cook in the Krusty Krab before SpongeBob. We don't see anyone else in the restaurant. The show retcons it and says that Jim used to be KK's fry cook, still he retired so there'd be a time where neither him nor SpongeBob worked at the KK. There's also a character literally called "Not SpongeBob" who apparently worked in between Jim and SB. Now I haven't watched modern SB a lot but I think Squidward and Mr. Krabs sucking at cooking is just a thing the show do if the plot calls for it. Personally, Squidward already works as a cashier so it makes sense that it's Krabs who can cook. But who knows? Mr. Krabs could be forcing Squidward to cook. Also, IK this is an episodic cartoon and we're just overthinking things. Some say that SpongeBob could be neurodivergent. So it could be that he's passionate about the Krusty Krab because of that.
