I mean, if a whole town all of a sudden starts treating you like some brain dead, second class sub human because some twat only takes potshots at you, (and won't stop, even if you asked them nicely over and over again), then that's cause for doing something. Notice that some of the residents were even starting to call Sandy an "it?" Sandy has long since been established as one of Bikini Bottom's most competent and smartest residents, but all of that went out of the window in seconds over a few jokes and crowd-sized tribal mentality. Because the longer you just sit and take stuff like this, the more those people will see it's okay, and it just escalates. (But of course, you're not supposed to fight back or say anything...cuz "triggered." Now you just sit right back down, and stop being so "triggered" and "sensitive." They're just having some fun....of course at your expense every time, but what's so bad about that, hum?) Oh, heck no, you nip that shit in the bud quick before it gets out of hand, because things in "jest" can turn serious, aggressive, scapegoat-y, and truly discriminatory on a dime given the correct circumstances, and depending on how long it's been able to fester. You don't just sit there and let people do that to you. People can be a lot like chickens. Get enough of them together, there are going to be some who are going to peck at the "different" one, and that pecking can get pretty ugly after a while if someone doesn't do something to address it or put a stop to it. The target can be different in any aspect you can think of, but Sandy's true issue here was that she was the only one there from land, and everybody else was from the ocean on their home turf. The lesson here is if you are going to roast one, roast everyone, and don't go too far. Yes, there is a line.

Man do I miss seasons 1-3. The jokes, the animation, and overall just the feel that the show had. I know soooooooo much people have said this but I perfer the first 3 seasons over all the other seasons. Sure seasons 1-3 had some bad episodes like The Sponge who could Fly and The Smoking Peanut but these seasons still had a feeling to them that you couldn't get from any other cartoon and that's what I love about it! I also really adore the 2 movies and I cannot wait for Sponge on the Run to come out! And with seasons 4 and up of SpongeBob I dont think there terrible at all I just think that it should have been a completely different show and then I think more people would enjoy them and appreciate it for what it was! And I want to say thank you guys for reacting to these classic episodes and making me feel like a kid again! You guys are awesome and deserve a WHOLE lot of love and respect! I hope everyone stays safe and awesome as the months past!!! :D
