My rural internet is sometimes great, sometimes not....but I am going to try again to say hello to my peep's out there, to say hello and chat for a bit.

We are in Winter 🇿🇦 in South Africa. Western Cape definitely wine country. I had a few days during summer where I could not handle the heat. I just can't stay awake when it's so hot. I don't like the cold and summer used to be my best time of the year. Our summers go up to 39°C but inland up to 45. Winters are mild with snow on mountains about 90 minutes away. Thus winter at its peak will be 2 and 3°C in the early morning. Otherwise 7,9,11°C. My favourite wines Merlot in red and Sauvignon Blanc in white.

Tomorrow is the start of our first heat wave of 2024 😕 it zaps me! I love Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc as well…I love good wine 💕 Fall/Winter and Spring are my favorite seasons….lucky you! Happy cool weather 🥰

Hi jennifer, just moved back to cali after 30 years in Texas, believe me california hot is nothing like Texas heat and humidity. I am loving it here in the sierra foothills of sonora.

I love old pictures like that. You make me want to hop on a plane now and go there. I really need to plan this trip!!! I’m thinking the temp regulation is due to menopause; however, read up on Dysautonomia. A doctor thinks I have it. I plan on making a video about it but I’m waiting until my MDS appointment this month cause he’s gonna do some tests to confirm. If I have time I may do one sooner and then do an update. Anyway, Dysautonimia is kind of like PD cause it has a ton of different symptoms…sweating is on the list. Dysautonomia is also linked to people with PD.

I love old pictures and magazines like that, sooooo cool! Unlike me who's hot flash burning up chick over here. So you are dealing with this too?? It's awful, and I am so over the extreme sweating episodes....I should start tracking actually, to get a real sense of how often they happen. Would love to know what your doctor says about it!! XOXO

My dad taught me gin rummy and I loved it. And love rummykube too. Hubby and I play cards every day and also love backgammon. My dad was in a poker club but never taught me poker….🤷‍♀️

Yay!! Someone who plays Gin Rummy and Rumikube ❤️ Your dad probably didn't want to get you hooked on poker like he was...it's a great but brutal game...not for every one I say! 🙃

I dont like the heat because of Parkinson. I am in Ireland at the moment. Sunny and 15 degrees celsius and plenty of Guinness. In Germany we have nice dry Riesling.

Hi Doris! I am jealous of the weather, your access to the freshest Guinness. I love Rieslings, all of them, but on a hot day they are so lovely ❤️
