Watching this one, Kersey Valley Spooky Woods mastered the wonderful immersive part of a haunt. Though all are great, this one feels like you’re in the middle of the most awesome horror movie! And they hop onto your transport! Yesss!!! Loved it!

Thanks again for visiting my original home state of NC, they do some awesome haunted attractions! I would love to hear your opinion of what you thought about Woods of Terror which you visited last year vs Kersey Valley Spookywoods, they are kind of local rivals of each other, but equally great in their own way!!! Spookywoods has an advertisement for Woods Of Terror hanging in the midway area and I heard that Woods Of Terror is advertising Spookywoods! You didn't ask me, but if I were to compare the 2023 Spookywoods to 2022 Woods Of Terror, Spookywoods wins. Woods Of Terror is good, though, but when I was there last year it was too crowded and it was difficult to be startled because everyone is so close to the previous group you know what is going to happen before you get there. At Spookywoods last weekend the groups were much more spaced out so there was more of a chance to actually be startled. As for Hollywood Horror Show, I haven't been since 2020, and they were very understaffed. It was probably due to the pandemic, though, so hopefully it is better now. I will check them out next year!

@@Kimzapoppin thanks for the perspective it’s been years since I’ve been able to go. I’ve been in Florida the past eight years, when I say rivals, it’s like a friendly rival. Maybe I should say they are neck and neck typically with overall quality and efforts. But there’s nothing that takes away that scare buzz faster than staff, either yelling at you to move on, or being too crowded and rushed! Hoping Hollywood Horror has improved! All these people (owners and such) are great and very devoted to the craft!
