I’ve seen Shoehei in the last game, completely give up on a 1st base run and no one said ish to him 😂. Don’t play double standards here. I’ve heard players say running to 1st first is the most dangerous base to run bc the 1st basemens foot can sometimes be partially on top of the bag and if you are sprinting full speed and catch your ankle on that foot, you will roll or snap your ankle in to a compound fracture. That could be a season ender or worse and they guys aren’t making $200k a year, closer to $150k a game.
