I have a episode idea, why not interview Johnny on how he started doing this, does he do it full time, how does he do it, what does he do, his basically life story in sports betting from the beginning. I've kind of heard most of Rob story but I think people find this very interesting especially up and comers who dream of one day taking this to another level. Did you guys meet originally and that's what turned one of you into a professional or did you go about things solo. How did two guys from the same high school decade apart both go down this avenue? The whole in and outs would be cool to hear imho. I think it would be really interesting thanks

It's an intersting idea. Johnny isn't as public as Rob is but we can potentially explore this.

Combining both of your stories today, I actually played on a very highly competitive softball team with Tim Thomas the former bruins goalie. He was our shortstop but he had to quit playing with us well into his twenties because he finally made it to the NHL and he couldn't risk to get hurt

I used to go to the harness races back in the '90s and I swear anytime somebody stood up when the horses were coming down the stretch and proclaimed a had it or where it's going to win, that horse would end up losing in a gut-wrenching way at the end. We used to do this even with strangers from a distance laughing as they would go from excitement and hysteria to crushing defeat within seconds after saying it every time it seemed.

I think the question about what do you do when your model is off public perception was phrased wrong. I think with they meant was what do you do when your model is off a lot of the betting market number. Meaning you make a model and your number comes out minus two and the real line is -10. Would love to hear you address this meaning lots of people who are building models or systems have numbers way off which kind of proves their model isn't really accurate I would think

Kickball "soccer baseball". When I would play I did switch the rules and told everyone to play just from home to second base. And you score a point every time you cross home. So if you kicked it far and you could make it from home to second back to second back to home it would be 2 runs scored. Or if you ran to second you stay till the next person up. It made it a lot more fun.

haha "soccer baseball." These guys drinking too much syrup to know on a grounder you throw back to the pitcher to make a defensive out

I'm a firm believer that those who've been betting at high levels for over a decade can see games play out in worst case scenario is better than even coaches. I can more or less call out scenarios that once in a while come into play we're even the announcers are caught off guard when it's happening and I played it out in my mind 20 minutes earlier

That card Q is interesting. Cards very seasonal. Big spike in preseason lead up so doing this now ideally would do a Baseball player since your buying end of season dead time. People want to move off dead assets till spring training. Can’t do basketball or football right now cards will devalue before you can get them.

Ohtani cards as a whole were relatively cheap after his injury plagued 2019,2020 seasons. A few people I know did very well scooping up different serial’d refractors. Very rare opportunity. Unfortunately sports cards are massively overproduced. We’re in a modern junk wax bubble (which got huge during Covid when everyone was on lockdown) even retail products are grossly overpriced. The value of many graded cards have also declined due to high population reports from PSA. My best advice would be to actually collect vintage cards that have been slabbed by PSA or BGS. Guys like Jordan & Gretzky appreciate in value over time.

Haha I thought I was the only one who prematurely graded losers. I've also tried to chalk up winners early and the second it looks like I jinxed it I instantly erase the victory and keep it as a pending wager. I swear the few times I've counted games as wins almost every time ends up being a large sweat or even a loss
@arthurfonzarelli98283 ай бұрын
I almost never chalk up a victory even when teams are doing a kneel down as I'm prepared mentally for the inevitable fumble that happens once a decade to go against me

Don't you dare criticize softball. Haha I played seriously competitive softball four nights a week and every other weekend in the summer for tournaments all through my twenties and early thirties. I miss all of it. The camaraderie on the field and off the field is something I miss still nearly 20 years later.

I have a really good +ev move Sign up for at least 2 different internet providers. If you bet large and/or for a living, its massive if you intetnet goes out. Have a backup, even if its slower and you barely ever use it. One saturday with no internet and using a backup will pay for the backup for life and then some. I have 3 internet providers. 1 i have still never used. No brainer.

56ish minutes - you could only win so much as most places have max payout of like a million or so, and if a bunch of people hit it in same day there would be a huge enquiry. Would be much more complicated than just betting all the sgp's
