One of the best player of the 2000's for sure... many will only remember the older rick nash but when he was in Colombus he was a beast

He had some Lindros in his game. Not fully, but some of those moves getting in between and around defenders. Very fun to watch. Especially his CBJ days.

Watching Him and Kovalchuk come up at the same time I remember when everyone wanted one of their two jerseys.. Then all the sudden it was the Datsyuk show.. Really thought Nash and Kovalchuk would of had more of an impact in the NHL.. Kind of a damn shame when you think about it..

man, ill tell u, nash was to me the first player to really showcase and start the "new generation" of the 00s and onwards. later we would have malkin,crosby,ovie etc. but nash was the prototype player of the new generation in nhl.

Growing up, Rick Nash was my favorite player but such a waste in Columbus. If he would be in any other team in the league, he would be a fan favorite league wide in that period of time along with Crosby Malkin Ovechkin etc.

Even as a lifelong fan of a divisional rival (in those days) of Detroit. Rick Nashes prime years being cut short/wasted in Columbus is a 2k nhl travesty.
