I don't want to blame Skinner for this defeat (he couldn't save 4 of the 5 goals), but in all the victories since end of November, there were exactly 2 games that he won with saves like Nedelkovic today. That will be the deciding factor in the PO again... Like Big Bob last year 😔 P.S. Drai is just a phenom 🙌

Oilers lost that game in the 1st period they looked sluggish and cost them those 4 goals including the game winner, other than that it was a pretty good game just couldn't complete that comeback.. congrats to the Pens especially their goalie 👏

Most embarrassing game I’ve ever watched them play. Everyone’s gonna blame skinner and of course there’s always merit to it but did you pay attention to the defence on the first 4 goals? HORRIBLE. Any goalie would’ve had trouble stopping them. Horrible game. Skinner can’t take all the blame. He probably should’ve been pulled but I don’t think this loss is on him as much as it is on the team.

Poor decision of Knob not to pull Skinner after the third goal. Send a message to the team. Instead he kept him in and it got worse. Oil management need to get Bouchard to sign a low one year extension so hopefully he can finally round out his defensive game. Can’t pay this player 10.5mil like many think he’ll get in his next contract. Way too much of a liability in his game right now. His agent has got to be pragmatic about this and realize Bouchard is having a tough season overall.

Bouchard is a 2nd line Defenseman and 2nd PP unit Defenseman playing in the top spots. Hes being overused in a spot hes not qualified for so a fix to this would be to trade for someone more qualified to go first and put Bouchard to the 2nd pair and 2nd PP unit. Then I think he would make way less mistakes.

Oilers need better goaltending if they're ever hope to win another Cup. Skinner isn't good enough, would make a good backup. Oh and another top 4 dman. Close but losing Holloway and Broberg is aggregious.

Stop blaming him for an entire team loss. They hung him out to dry on 3 of the goals, hes proven this year that he can get the job done and this game too. Made up some pretty damn good saves to stop the bleeding. This was a 1st period collapse from all the players INFRONT of him. Even Hellebuyck cant save Oilers weak D.

Skinner does let in weak ones yes but this time 4 of those goals werent on him. Rusts was a super snipe while screened, Hayes was left all alone in front and same with Crosbys goal. While you hope your goalie comes up with the big saves you need to win even Hellebuyck would of struggled this game with the way Oilers played in the first.

Alright, let's just put this loss to the Penguins in perspective. First off, it was definitely the ice, folks. You can't expect to win when the ice is that slippery…anyone who’s played knows the puck just doesn’t slide right on nights like this. And don’t even get me started on the refs. There was clearly a missed high stick in the second period, but hey, they weren’t paying attention. Classic Penguins bias. Now, about Stuart Skinner….this guy is the future of Canadian hockey, I’m telling you. One bad game against the Penguins? Doesn’t matter. It’s not like he had the defense in front of him, right? I mean, did you see those turnovers? He's been stellar all season, and the guy’s got the calm of a veteran, even if the stats aren’t there tonight. I still believe he’s the guy for Team Canada come the Four nations. You think a little loss to Pittsburgh is gonna change that? Nah, this was just a speed bump. Oilers still have the best offense in the league and the depth to make a push. We’ll bounce back, and come playoff time? Watch out. This team is built for the Cup. This game? Just a minor hiccup. Trust me, we're going all the way.

The officials were the worst I’ve ever seen in my 30+ years of watching hockey tonight trying to get the oilers to win the game. It’s so ridiculously unacceptable. I dunno what has to happen for these pieces of trash refs to get some accountability, but it’s not okay when you win, it’s not okay when you lose.
