How is it goal tender interference when the goal tender is the one creating the interference? The offensive player wasn’t in the crease that I saw.

The offensive player put himself into the crease and restricted the motion of the goalie in the net. It's kind of BS but it was a heads up play and the right call. The league is really trying to set a standard where if you put yourself in the crease, you're risking interference. Funny because they totally flubbed a call against the islanders in the opposite situation last game.

@@Implicit_Truth He looked like he was in the crease when Binnington slid into him. It was goalie interference.

The way I saw was he was in the crease obviously. When binnington slid over to position himself for a pass that initially took place he slid into 21 on the islanders which led to the contact that pretty much never ended until the goal. I’m biased as a blues fan but seeing 21’s reaction when they scored, he knew it wasn’t gonna count.

@@evanveizer3831 I'm an Islanders fan and I totally agree with this assessment, it was an obvious one even if Binnington initiated contact. No goal was a good call.

The blues deserve to have this thrown in their faces. Management leads with it’s mind and wallet but the fans lead with their hearts. It’s bad enough they fired the town hero but now he’s leading the division in Toronto while the blues are an under .500 team losing badly to other teams under .500.

It's going to be a tough year for the Blues Offensively this is the worst team we've had in years, Keep waiting for the young guys to step up Defense isn't helping Binnington at all! Faulk is lost out there. bad signing
