I tweeted it during the game and I'll say it again. That game between the Rangers and Capitals was a STATEMENT towards the league to get it together when it comes to player safety. This is what happens when players know that they can do basically whatever they want and the league will do little to nothing about it. The NHL and NHLPA need to have a serious chat this off season or else we might see more games breakdown like that in the future sooner rather than later

Idk if it’s just me, but I used to watch a lot of the Game Show Network growing up and your intro reminds me of one of the shows on there I used to love. I can’t remember the name of the show but I think it was a word game. I could be wrong. Idk if it’s the sound effects, the style of the intro animation or what, but something about it just screams GSN in the back of my brain. I didn’t have the channel at home because we had basic cable so I could only watch it when I was at my cousin’s house since they had satellite tv.

My dad had a very similar surgery to what Eichel is looking at, and he definitely wishes if there was any way he could have avoided the surgery he would have. So not knowing anything about the specifics of the diagnosis and doctors’ opinions, I can definitely see it both ways. Tough for sure.

hockey is suprisingly painful to play, sometimes a small looking thing like a spear to the ribs actually hurts alot, even a small clip on the gloves can hurt like hell if u hit the soft areas of the padding where ur joints are exposed
