As a Native, that's exactly why. Pittsburg, Washington, St. Louis, Minnesota draw big crowds in Denver. Everyone is moving to the great state of Colorado and it's a melting pot at this point. I despise the shootout. A team sport for 65 minutes turned into a one-on-one competition to determine the winner. One of the stupidest rules in pro sports. I despise the shootout. I'm mad at myself for staying up late to watch what was otherwise a very exciting game. It really wasn't worth it. Pasta... WTF?

It was obvious Pastrnak didn’t have it last night, he looked tired, both mentally and physically. Obvious to everybody except the coach. Jim Montgomery should not have played him during OT, he almost cost them the game when he turned the puck over for what seemed like the 10th time in that game. And then to send him out for the shootout, with that lame attempt, that was truly an idiotic decision. Why didn’t he have Marchand instead of Pastrnak for the shootout, Marchand was the best player on the ice that day? Really bad coaching.
