How’s the longevity of the boa system? After a few years of heavy use and being out in the elements while hunting and shooting does it weaken at all?

I've been running the same release for 2 years now and have yet to see any noted wear on the strap. Still operates just fine. I would recommend a pre check on any release before heading into the field. Inspect that the trigger feels normal and that the strap system is working properly the way it should, just so you don't have any issues when it counts.

Why do you choose to shot the original one compared to the strap one?

That's my favorite release but the "leather" buckle is the worse I had a custom leather one made and it will last forever
