I can't imagine someone would be on free music app and have the ability to afford this watch in the first place. It's like getting a V8 ride and not having the ability finances to cover to gas for it. Good review. I decided to get this watch for my partner, and she loved it. Wish it would come in more premium material and additional straps onboard.

i can afford the watch, but i don't want to add a subscription when i have the mp3 files already. why should people pay extra. also the watch isn't that expensive at 200$ this isn't even at the high end of watches.

I have a question..Using the watch as a remote.... If you have a playlist in spotify can you select the playlist in on your watch and will it "list the names of the tracks" and allow you to select a song from the "list" on your watch..

Thanks so much for this video. You mention other smartwatches having ability to control music play. I was wondering, do you know if it's possible to use the Garmin Venu Sq (non-music edition) to just control spotify? I don't necessarily need to store music on my smartwatch, but I like being able to skip songs easily, etc while on the treadmill.

exactly the same music controls on the standard Sq. You just can't put your own music on and no Spotify.

That was so thorough....thank you so much! I love my new Venu SQ but was a little foggy on how the music worked. I always have my phone when running, so am relieved to know I can still listen to youtube via the the watch (as a remote control).

hi! I just got this watch and I paired i with my heaphones, but they dont have volume control, so I have to do it from the watch, and I cant do it. They are at maximum level and I cant turn it down pressing the controls. Can you tell me how does the volume control works? thanks!

There is a little speaker 🔈 icon click on that. Then the volume will show up. I don’t know why it always starts at max volume. Level 1 is enough with some good over the ear headphones or earbuds.

I tried to download MP3 files (i tried M4A aswell) to Garmin Express. They found them and I sended it to the watch. It says transfer complete but I can't find anything on the watch? I have even tried restarting the watch, and re-installing Garmin Express. Any help ?
