The 16X gets more coverage now than ever. People look at the failures and prices of new stuff and think: "I just need something that get's me 80% of the big stuff, but is reliable, fairly priced and practical". For a city dweller 16X hits the spot. Not too big, not to small, not too fast, not to slow just perfect.

My first! SOOOO Happy! My 16X has 425km, It’s a beast! Not 2 months old, but she has taken a beating, oh ya! Reliable? Broken in? My covers have suffered horribly. I choose saving my butt, over the machine. Keep the speed low, try to stay off ground. This baby survived so many 3-4 rollover flips on lime-rock roads and some paved. So I bought new panels, left them in the box, Duct taped the covers, whoops covered a couple lights, I drag my pedals in spin arounds, on purpose, ever lean over a motorcycle and drag the pegs? If you see a 16X looking that beat up, with a 50 year old man “Carving” I guess you call it, Side to side on leaning front and back in rhythm to 80’s roller skating music, on the sidewalk, grass on side of the road, (florida) down in and up out of the retention ditches, thru the park on/off road or across the soccer fields, open fields, thru the center of town, thru the parking lots and drive thru’s, up the hill, down the hill and the sidewalks of all the strip malls. The 16X combines a feeling like a large human form, of an Atari 2600 joystick controlling a Flying carpet. I used to dream of this toy as a teenager. Thankfully so did someone se! By far, my most favorite toy ever. Paramotoring is but a close second! This thing runs like the day it was new. Before I beat the shit out of it, like that damn Energizer bunny. I Love it.

Thanks for this video! I've been riding my 16X for a year and a half, and I love it! I cannot think of another wheel on the market that gets that range at this weight at this price. The V12, maybe, but it's heavier with roughly the same range. As EUC makers keep making bigger, faster wheels, I hope they don't forget the people who just want to use these for commuting and trail rides.

I've ridden almost every EUC ever made, and just bought a Sherman Max, and still think the 16x is the best wheel ever manufactured. I own 2 of them - and it remains my most ridden wheel. I wish EUC makers would go back to making wheels like this - i.e, more like an EUC and less like one-wheeled motorcycles. My only ask of the 16x would be a slightly higher top speed, maybe 36 instead of 31. Great video : )

@@VadimZverev I have ridden a normal Nikola and prefer the 16x, although the light show on the Nikola is pretty cool. The 16x feels a bit more zippy and less chunky imho.

I can testify to the statements made about this being a fantastic wheel. I bought mine from E-Riderz back in 2020, love it. It’s hard to justify an upgrade when this wheel works so well already.

16x still the most reliable wheel. Best speakers, best L.E.D, and even out torques the v12… I know people with well over 5k miles and still running like a champ.

Agree absolutely with the first comment, great wheel ! Very balanced in all points. But one question : how is it handling rain in 2023 batches ? Any improvement ? It’s not IP rated at all, any tips (use covers, heard some where using a bit a of silicon carefully -not to much of course to let it dry internally) my KS 18 L had no issue sustaining heavy rain. Thanks

I'm so excited to try this I am waiting on my kingsong 14s and very so tempted to order a kingsong 16x also while I'm waiting. Never could go very far on the normal pedal unicycle reliably

Awesome review Scotty! Is the 16XS just as good? Or does the 2000w motor & smaller battery not just effect the range?

Hi Joel, the 16XS will have around 5kmph less top speed compared to 16X and the shorter range based on half the battery capacity (777wh instead of 1554Wh). It is around 3.3kg lighter however. The 16XS is still a great option!

Important thing to consider is the sweet spots you want to use your battery btw 50% and 80% ideally. So the most comfortable it is for you daily to have the best availability of your motor (so on site is a bit more pricey, and a bit of more weight)

Like kingsong they have 9bars thats full and when I ride about 26miles it tells my bar are at 6left.on 16x how can u tell how many bars u have left it ride??
