@@Lousy_Bastard I wish you were wrong, but you're not, I feel more is seen, but less is prosecuted. Our PM here said he had too much money "spaffed up the wall on these cases". The watch over children has strengthened, but the watch over the perpetrators is seen by our government, here, as an inconvenient expense. I should imagine the same is true in the US. We must keep pushing.

They were hero's taking on the church and exposing them for their despicable behavior , If they hadn't kept it a secret they would have been told to stop , thank God the Spotlight team works independently . As a Boston resident and a catholic I grew up all around it going to catholic schools as a child I guess I was lucky and dodged a bullet knowing these monsters were everywhere and I'm truly grateful for their work .

It's time to revisit this. I have a history with the Catholic Church where they have destroyed my life. And I want my story told. My book will come out. It will be called" freedom is not just a word". It is a lot more than what happened here. It was total destruction of my identity and everything that I ever was and I have struggled for 4 years to recollect it. Don't let the story end with this masterpiece of film and courage. Bring it all back up. This is an ongoing crime and what was done to me should never have been done to a living being.

Fantastic People... It was wonderful to see real journalists applying their trade. This has VERY SADLY become a lost art...almost to the point of extinction. We see none of it any longer, We, the people, of any Nation, can no longer find reporters we can trust to tell us the TRUTH...We are constantly asking ourselves...Is it True??? Very sad indeed!

Watch the film, listen to all these interviews, but the real fact remains that Phil Saviano tried to tell them and they wouldn’t listen, the lawyer sent them a list of priests that they were aware of that wasAbusing children. But the fact of the matter is nothing would have been done if it weren’t for Marty baron who saw this problem right away, his first day, and demanded they look into this obviously neglected story. Without Marty Baron this abuse probably would still be going on unnoticed.

Not the most important observation about the film, but I think even 15 years later, Sasha Pfeiffer is much more attractive and her face shows much more character than the actress who portrayed her in the film.

@Cindy Tartt Not taking away from her talent at all. I admire Rachel McAdams and I've followed her career for a long time. But her looks are a bit distracting, given that Pfeiffer was closer to middle-aged. I find it annoying that producers feel compelled to cast female ingenues to play older women who are surrounded by actors who are closer to the ages of the real-life men they portray.
@sharonmahoney93333 жыл бұрын
@@CyeOutsider That's exactly what I was trying to say.
@kedrprao3 жыл бұрын
@@sharonmahoney9333 You are completely wrong. Pfieffer wasn’t a middle aged woman at the time of investigation. Pfieffer was just 30 years old young and brilliant woman when this investigation happened, and Rachel McAdams was 36 years old when the movie was filmed, so your point about their age is totally flawed. I think Rachel McAdams was perfect as Sasha Pfieffer.

Not when the Pope is using derogatory slurs against the 2SLGBTQIA+ community behind closed doors. He says “nice” things in public but has no intention of exposing that well hidden Nazi gold… that’s a metaphor (and possibly reality) if you catch my drift.

Revelation 14:6-12 King James Version (KJV) 6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear YAHUWAH, and give glory to YAHUWAH; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. 8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. 9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of YAHUWAH, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of YAHUSHUA: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of YAHUWAH, and the faith of YAHUSHUA.
