I was thinking the same thing! When were you there? I went there too, but I'm sure it was a long time before you. I was there in the early 1990s with Zach Braff, Bijou Philips, and a few people who later starred on Broadway (Michelle Federer who was the original Nessarose in Wicked and was on Smash, Marni Raab who was one of many people to play Christine in Phantom, Danny Gurwin who was in The Full Monty and a bunch of other stuff, and Lee Zarrett who I just saw on Broadway in My Fair Lady - he didn't have a big role but it was cool to unexpectedly see someone on stage I hadn't seen since high school). I love being surprised by seeing old friends from camp on TV or on stage: a few years ago there was a revival of Godspell on Broadway and I went to a preview only to discover that the director, "Daniel Goldstein" was my old friend Danny Goldstein from Stagedoor; I directed him in "The Red Coat" for the camper-directed one-act festival during my second year at Stagedoor and now he's a professional director. I, otoh, didn't pursue the arts. I went to Penn and then to law school. I also saw lots of Stagedoor folks when I got to college; Stagedoor advertises itself to reluctant parents by bragging about the high percentage of people who go to Ivy League colleges and professional school after spending a few summers at camp. My roomate's parents didn't want to pay for another summer until they were convinced being into theater would help with college admissions, and since my roommate ended up at Harvard I guess it did!
