Yes that's an normal size the ones they caught and a large one is 50 cm

Beads... as a visual attractant my ass! Nothing more than marketing rubbish. They're just as successful if you make a "good luck" necklace out of them and wear it while fishing. I've bagged out many times on whiting and beads were certainly not included.
