I am still at the "pillow-in-the-back/bum-ditty on infinite loop" stage, but I want to make "Spotted Pony" one of my first tunes if I can. I found this video to be educational and fun. Your music-teaching chops really shine through. Thanks for posting this and I hope to see more videos like this one in the future!

​@@johnschneider4160hi John, I'm a beginner (about a month or 2) I have my 2 finger rolls down and i can clawhammer semi decently. My problem is I dont know what to practice or what i should be doing. Should i keep getting my techniques down or do I start learning songs? These types of lessons still seem monumental to me. 🤷
