Spray max 2k clear coat & Rust-oleum metallic blue paint job on golf cart

Looks fantastic how long after the basecoat did you wait to apply the 2k clear?

With using rust-oleum rattle cans, a week. But when I used it with real car paint on my truck, right away, about an hour. So if your going to use a rattle can spray paint, I would recommend minimum week or longer.

How many cans of spray Max did you use? Just curious looks great.

I used 3 cans, for 3 coats. Basically 1 can per coat, I could of got away with just 2 coats. Excellent product !! I’ve used before on my truck, roughly 2 1/2 yrs ago, still looks great.

Have you ever cut then buffed the 2k? curious if it cuts then buffs super smooth.

Yes when I did my truck, I wet sanded the clear coat with a 1000 -2000 grit paper, then compound buffed to a glass finish
