After the pressure cleaning, the team moves on to the painting phase. For this task, they utilize the Mark IV HD 3-in-1 Standard Series Electric Airless Sprayer, which is powered by 230V electricity. This sprayer is designed for heavy-duty applications and provides efficient and even coverage.
To prepare the roof for the top coat, the team applies an undercoat called Roof Primer MX. This undercoat helps improve adhesion and enhances the durability of the final paint job. Once the undercoat is applied and properly dried, the team proceeds with the top coat.
For the top coat, they use AcraTex Roof Membrane, a specific type of paint designed for roof surfaces. This paint is known for its excellent weather resistance, UV protection, and long-lasting performance. It ensures that the roof not only looks aesthetically pleasing, but also provides reliable protection against the elements.
Throughout the project, the team utilizes a total of 225 liters of paint to complete the job. This quantity indicates the amount of paint needed to cover the entire roof surface adequately.

Mate I use FFLP tips for roofs, use them for everything. Even membrane, use a .16 or .14 say 414 Or 514 FFLP. I use the Graco tips cuts down overspray massively saves on material. You can't really even see the overspray on video. The Graco tips go on a Wagner handle with the Graco tip guard. The Graco tip numbers are more accurate sizing and I believe last longer. Iron roof with solarguard etc, I'm using a 310FFLP and I'm prob running around 1/3 pressure on the unit. Just enough so it's not trailing.
