Have a great evening and a wonderful Blessed week full of Good Blessings for you and your family from a new viewer in Toronto Ontario Canada

Loves all your video. I’m really look forward to see more of it! Beautiful cabin! I have a question about water, how you do that and how it works? How you getting water from river or where it’s from?
@diyalaskanlifestyle2 жыл бұрын
We used to pump water out of the river. Now we pump it out of a 2” well I put in a couple yrs ago
@clarencewagner70322 жыл бұрын
@@diyalaskanlifestyle I wished that you video of that part to where I can understand, I can’t get the concept. As you meant you have digged hole for well to get water fill in from river? Then that well goes to cabin?? Well I never built like that. As it should be easy to pump out of river but to where it’s
@diyalaskanlifestyle2 жыл бұрын
The river water is silty that’s why we put the well in the ground so we can get clean water. If you watch part 7 of the cabin build playlist it shows how we put the wells in. Glad you like the videos

New to your channel. Love the content. Question, Do you think a 10 hp outboard would handle local river currents? Also what type of salmon runs do you see at your cabin. Thank you in advance for any response.
@diyalaskanlifestyle2 жыл бұрын
A 10hp will move a small boat up a river but it will have a prop and rivers around here tend to be pretty shallow so you would prob want a motor with a jet unit on it. The smallest motors I’ve seen that have jets are 20hp. We get a late run of silvers up that way. Glad you like the videos
