Its amazing how much farming has improved over the years. Of course the tractors and stuff like that has improved, but I was watching on the History channel that yall can use satellites to map out the fields and make sure you do not mess up on a row. Great video.

By my calculations, you would have my corn planted in under a half a second. You should be proud of your farming heritage, many would love to trade places with you !

guys im a beginning farmer way down here in the great state of TEXAS and yall have to have over $1,000,000 in equiptment. From combines to hay wagons. Geez, I can barely get financing for a tractor and a bale wrapper and I make alot on my regular job as a ER nurse. More power to you!!

Usually a lot in most years, however, this year we've hardly gotten any rain. They keep saying rain is in the forecast but it always misses us. Humidity in the summer usually sites around 98%.

For a short while in the late 1970's I manager a John Deere dealership. None of the big stuff like in your video I think our biggest was a 950. (good lawn mower :-)) I went to school one week at Atlanta's John Deere Headquarters, and flew to Horicon, Wisconsin one day to tour the lawn and garden factory. A good friend owned the dealership, and I worked it for a while before moving on. Oh yes I attended the big farm equipment expo at Moultrie, GA that year. My other KZbin account is OCKTEBY

Hey Ryan, thanks for checking my clips.. Wondering how many acres you put in with this machine. A farmer one field over uses an air-drill aboot 62ft wide and plants a full section in a day and half, that's two full sections in three days..too much dough for the really big equipment, but when you've got 10.000 plus acre farms, then it's worth the investment. Noticed that you're planting in swaths, for windrows and crop rotation? it sure cuts down on herbicide and pesticide costs, lat'r Buzz
