Some interesting looking spring style clothes you were well representing. I generally wear spring like clothes in the English summer months really since I feel the cold more but I do wear summer clothes like shortsleeved shirts if it was a baking hot heatwave and all the rest of it. But wonderful video Melissa and well done on nearly reaching 200k subscribers :-). Very very big well done indeed :-). Its indeed a special milestone :-). Its also nice seeing you looking very pretty as usual aswell as extremely stylish not to mention :-). Sadly I had to recently get rid of a few jumpers because they had excess holes in them which was certainly most painful but will eventually purchase some new ones though fairly soonish. Though they had a roughly good 2 years of being worn but eventually got old and had holes in them and all the rest of it. One of my jumpers until 2023 lasted for about roughly 7 or so years which is indeed a long time I must say Melissa. But some clothes last longer than others at different lengths of timing grip really and all the rest of it. I really also liked the look of your slip on shoes as I think so friends of mine might like them :-). Extremely nice indeed :-). Nice style to them aswell. I love your style recommendations and have been following your advice. Thank you I look so much more put together. I’m 5’10”177.8 cm) with large bust and wide hips/thighs/calves but no tummy. This makes it challenging to order clothes- tops and jackets don’t button properly and sleeves and inseams are too short. My tops have to be 2 sizes larger than bottoms. Love the vivaia shoes, are they good for long narrow feet, I struggle to get ballet shoes to fit well without slipping off. The m&s blazer looked so good on u, I had bought it but returned it, it was too structured round the shoulder area, went for a biker style jacket instead. Another great inspirational video!

I was surprised the cream dress was corduroy! It moves more like a soft wool!! Is a tweedy jacket going to make a plus sized woman look even bulkier? Ive been choosing flat fabrics to reduce bulk. The black and white set would look nicer if the print didnt line straight up and down.

Hello Melissa. I love your videos. My figure is similar to yours but my legs are a bit heavier. I am 5' 4" tall. Can wide leg pants be too wide for someone that is shorter?

Absolutely they can, they can over power their figure and the key is the waistband. As long as you’re showing a proportionally smaller waistband/waistline to the width of your trousers then you’ll be ok but if you don’t go in at your waist and you carry your weight around the middle, then avoid very wide pants x

Have a watch of the Body Shape Master Class video where I dress ladies with larger stomachs - i think there's 3 or 4 on there. Basically if your stomach is your widest part then thats the starting point of the hourglass figure. So, the only option for you is to broaden your shoulder area and then broaden your hips to match. When you do this your stomach will look smaller and even though you've broadened yourself out, you'll look balanced and therefore a dress size smaller. x

I find that their ballet flats come up true to size, maybe slightly big but still ok but their loafers come up small. So I’m typically a uk 4.5 and i wear a uk 5 in their loafers and a 4 in their ballet flats.

Hi Melissa, how do you go about styling longer midi skirts on a petite frame? I’m only 5ft and I’ve bought a few pleated skirts that finish just above the ankle, and I’m not sure how to style it properly with footwear to make sure the skirt doesn’t overpower my small frame?

Have a watch of this weeks video which is out on Sunday. It's with a 5ft 1 lady who needs help dressing her stomach and short torso and I put her in several longer skirts/dresses. Hope it helps!

Hi Melissa Another message...Im a 61yr old lady, and last July i joined a weight loss programme at my local gym. Ive lost just short of 3st, going from size 16 to 10/12. Initially, i was wearing really old t shirts and old trackie bottoms. Ive moved onto leggings now, and my old t shirts are getting really scruffy. Now that i am levelling out in weight, i dont mind investing a bit in some nice workout gear, as I'm in the gym 5 days per week. Could you do a video for gym gear please ? Im 4' 10" and busty, 34G, so sports bras are quite difficult to find. Thanks from Sue

Firstly well done 👍 amazing work! My favourite workout brands are Varley, lulu lemon, Adanola and sweaty Betty, with the odd bit of H&M thrown in there too! I often showcase these on Instagram.
