In this video, we are down on the upper Niagara River and Lake Erie for a beautiful day on the water. We are trying out the new DJI Action 4 camera and the DJI mic 2 and I think they worked out great! Sadly we do lose the drone to the waters of Lake Erie after a bird did not want to be on camera. But don't worry I have a new one coming. Oh and I caught some fish I was just as shocked as your are. Hope you enjoy this video. Cheers!

I knew the DJI Action 4 would suit you well! What do you think of it so far? The DJI Mic + Action 4 is a super kit that just can't be beat as far as I'm concerned. Are you going to try D-LOG and colour grading at some point? That's where it REALLY shines! Great video as always, Mark!

You were right that set up is amazing! I really enjoyed it, was easy to use when on the water. Then add that Mic 2 wow what a game changer that is. Yes the next video I am going to switch and shoot in D-LOG I wanted to try the normal setting first and it works good but I think your right what I should be able to pull from it in D-LOG should be great. Not sure about latest models but in early models DJI drones you can recover videos from the controller / phone. but it will be 720p quality.

Yes I remember it would save to the controller on the older ones but with this controller you have to put an SD card in it and I did not so sadly was not able to get the footage. I have now got a card and will put it in incase it happens again.

Oh the drone ! Anyways .. regarding the Mic, mark, i am having hard time hearing you vs the old videos while the seadoo is in motion

Ya that was not fun but got a new one so we are all good for the season! Yes I did notice that and not sure if it is due to being on the hat pointing down towards the seadoo. So the next time I am going to try putting it on the life jacket pointing up to see if that helps clear it up. Is just need to dial it in same with the video I thought it came out a bit dark so going to try something in the camera in the next video. But thanks for the feed back I need it to help make the videos good so please keep letting me know if you notice things. Cheers!

Mark, I see you are using a mic now; how are you keeping the Go Pro waterproof or are you bt to Mic to a phone or a digital recorder? How deep was the water where the drone went in?

Hey Bob, Yes I am trying out the DJI action 4 camera and the DJI mic 2. With those two you can link the mic right to the camera and not have to have anything plugged into the camera so it stays water proof. It is a game changer for recording on the water! It was around 15 feet deep but there was a lot of current as it was at the mouth of the Niagara River. But already have it replaced so good to go for the next adventure!
