Sorry i keep getting distracted by a woodpecker and a motorcycle. I was really depressed and finally seem to have had a pretty good day. I worry about the future but I'm trying to take one day at a time.

It was really nice to hear those bird sounds (woodpeckers are such a foreign concept to Australia). I laugh every time Takayama and cults are mentioned haha, I hope you end up getting to Japan and I hope I do as well.

You guys have kookaburras, which seem pretty scary. The woodpecker got scared when i started recording i guess, he was making a lot of woodpecking sounds before 😅 Yes let's hope for the best! 😊 Sorry for all the anxious thoughts 🙈 im looking forward to it (Japan and the cult!) regardless of whether it materializes or not 😊

It's always one day at a time, Ingrid. For most of us. It's just a lot of people won't admit it. Woman have it worse because of their menses though (built in depression enhancer). I think the whole far north daylight swings would make me depressed by itself. Even where I live the gulls still fly over the mountains and irritate the crap out of everyone (and sit in the McDonalds parking lot looking for food). Now Japan sounds very promising! At least spring is coming there and you have plans for the future to look forward to! We just had pouring rain here last 24 hours and it finally cleared this morning, so it might be a clear sunny day as well. I think we all need it after winter.

Hey Ingrid, Sorry to hear you had such a crummy couple of days, and glad you're doing better. Aww...I like seagulls....I get it though, when there's a whole gaggle of birds (of whatever kind) it can indeed feel Hitchcock-like. Yes, we're all degrees of functioning INFP-ness. ☺That would be great if you met up with Vondelpete in Japan or whenever. Hope you have a relaxing and fulfilling weekend. -Carm

Hello Ingrid, It's good to see you again (I saw the video you took down) Good to know you are feeling a bit better and you were able to do house chores and other stuff I can understand it can be really hard as I frequently face this problem.Yes indeed you can be proud of yourself. Before I forget, about the noise you said you will try putting your headphones on top your earbuds because of the noise of cars but I wanted to suggest that you try noise cancelling earbuds. I'm sorry you were feeling that bad , I hope things will be better soon. That analogy with human parents made me smile. I understand your stress about your assessment I hope for the best for you. Whatever works for you Ingrid, whatever the decision you will take I hope you will be able to find some joy wherever you will go. I guess Scotland is a good choice. It's nice to hear that your patients miss you , it shows how much of a good doctor you are. I hope new colleagues with whom you will get along will come. Be careful you may get a comment from a raven using the internet 😂 Take care of yourself and having a good evening/ night Ingrid 😊

Thank you! Yes I'm feeling better even with the stresses. I will check out noise-cancelling earphones! And yes i hope no raven sees this on the internet! 😂

Hi Ingrid, hope you're doing better today. I just wanted to respond to what you said at 3:00, don't know if you've come across Heidi Priebe but she did actually write an INFP survival guide! It's been awhile since I read it but it's definitely worth a look. For the record I think she's ENFP but I remember it being a good read. There's another one by Catherine Shea too, more of an autobiography but still interesting. Good luck with Japan but be kind to yourself if it doesn't work out,, I know I'd find that pretty daunting. Scotland's not too shabby anyway 😁

hi yes i've heard of it and i know of Heidi Priebe. I mean i didn't really mean it literally when i said there was no manual. I guess i mean there is no "official" or "scientific" manual. Thank you, i hope it works out too! :)
