Per you're easier comment about choosing between the 6 and 7. If it was a 2021, I'd go with the 6 because of the 2x8 drive train. But, now in 2022, the 6 and 7 both have 1x11 drive trains. So for 2022 I'd take the 7 even if the price wasn't the same, as the component upgrades would would be more than the difference in price. One a scale from 1 to 10 on the ride smoothness, I'd say 7. It is a hard tail after all, the thicker Maxxis tires help and I'm thinking of upgrading the front fork to get it to a 9.
