My prodigy 4.25 had malfunctions but took it to the range the way it was sent all it needed was oil

Nice review, have you noticed any damage to the front of your slide and barrel from it slamming into the compensator or from the heat blast/transfer?

@champ5316: Thanks for your compliment and for your question! I haven't seen any damage to the muzzle area or the compensator. Now, I've got well over 4K rounds through it. I think the most important thing about this setup is to make sure the screws are tight and comp stays in alignment. As far as heat blast/buildup, the barrel can be cleaned quickly w/ lead-a-way cloths just like a revolver cylinder. I truly hope this helps! Thanks for your viewership my friend. How do you keep the end of the barrel so clean using the UA Comp? I noticed when I used the UA Comp the carbon build up and it took a LONG time to get clean. So much so that I took the comps off my 4.25" Prodigy & 5" Prodigy

@jlvelez70: Thanks for your question and for your viewership! It is a fairly simple process if you have the right product for the job. I use the same product on the barrel that I use for ALL of my stainless steel revolvers' cylinder. That product is Kleenbore Lead Away Gun Cleaning Cloth! It's one of the best kept secrets in firearms maintenance! Cut a small rectangular piece that you can grasp from both sides after you place it over the muzzle between the barrel and comp. Then, pull the cloth side to side to remove the carbon. Just that easy!!! Hope this helps my friend. Happy Shooting!!!💪🏾😎

Thanks for reviewing Underworld Arms Basilisk Compensator. Noticed there's a gap between the Surefire X300-B & trigger guard. Is that preference or its not possible to get the light pressed up against the trigger guard? I saw another YT video with the same setup & see the same gap. Thanks
