John and Tony came home from the stockyard with 2 day old calves. Half angus and half brahama boys. I named them RibEye and TBone. Never forget where they're going to end up. Tried dehorning paste. It worked on the left horn on one of them and the right horn on the other. RibEye was cut by John's brother in the wrong moon phase. He nearly bled to death. We left TBone. Had RibEye slaughtered and sold TBone for enough to pay for all of their feed and processing. They were a mess. Don't turn your back on a young bull. LOL

God is Amazing!!! What a difference for you guys down there compared to last year's drought. It seems it's shifted up here to western Maryland. I have had to water the garden since planting in late March. I have never seen it so dry, looks like late summer here, in the spring. But this too shall pass. God bless you two and have a wonderful day enjoying new life on your farm!!

Y'all are some hard working Human Beings Danny & Wanda... Does my "Heart" good to see Good, decent Hard Working Human beings out doing what they love & spreading their Love to others... I get a Lot of my inspiration from your Channel alone & I would Imagine that lot's of others do as well... I believe you are a few yrs. younger than me ( this 71 yr. old Flesh suit I am wearing at the moment) and it's really a hard job for me using a 21" push mover to mow 3/4th acre of grass about 3-4 times a month.. On my mama's side all her people were raised on a farm & were Sharecropper's/Farmers (all11) at first & *2* out of the 11 became Farmers and raised crops & things.. Both were very successful & well educated (indoctrinated, if you will.-finished high school & went on to the higher indoctrination's *college*) centers until they passed away.. My daddy's side was totally different and all 6 son's went on to be Dr.'s except my daddy who owned & ran a Funeral Home by was a Medic In The Army... My uncle William, when alive, became the Chief of Staff at Duke University Medical Cancer Center in Durham, N.C. Never related to the Dr. side of my family & stayed with the Farming side... Thanks 4 ALL y'all do... From The Free Country For North Carolina... ~ Love ~ Peace ~ Respect ~

Back in the 1990's got to go with a friend from church to her Dad's & Mom's old farm home in northern Missouri near the Iowa border. They had a large patch & grew & used all year around what they called "Winter onions" simular to shalots. They would always let many grow up into a stalk & make "button" onion starts - many times the stalks dried & fell over to the ground & the buttons would start growing into new plants. Other times they would cut off the larger buttons from the stalk & plant onto another place (in September) - or give "buttons" away so others could grow them also. (I was given some & have continued growing them every year.) The onions are oval long shape & are warm/hot flavored -- the young plants (also the green tops up to 16") can be eaten raw & cut up in salads or cut up & cooked in assorted dishes. Some of the "bigger shalots" were harvested & used in baking in the oven with stew & roasts & chicken. The onions go through the Winter & can be dug & used when needed. (Look up for more information.)

Love Ms Wanda's overhead footage of the Danny corn, it looks amazing! We are growing corn for the first time and some of it is tassling. It has been fun to watch the bees travel from one stalk to another while pollinating. Wishing y'all continued success with the Danny corn 🌽🌽🌽. Congratulations on all of those new calves too!

Many years ago (45+) I moved into a home that had belonged for years to an elderly couple who planted many wonderful fruit trees. Around the base of each tree they had planted walking/multiplying onions. Even though never sprayed, there were very few worms in any of the fruit.

Hi Danny and Wanda. Welcome to the new brown calf and Daisy's little boy too. It's good your interacting with him. Your Danny Corn is doing so amazing! Being in the bucket of the tractor works since it's so high up. It's nice you have those old fashioned onions and still growing for you after all this time. Glad you shared and thank you. Blessings to you both and all your doing.

Beautiful baby boy. I bet Dexter is a proud father this time gettin a boy. I vote Dozer...because he'll be a good Dozer...whether sleepy, a good ground mover, or a good grass mower. :) Dozer means means "Patience processing", "A beautiful person that is loving and will do anything for you" Drax would be another good one, meaning open minded, an a courageous leader. Glad to see the weather is treating you nice. Doin well this year myself here in Kentucky despite the crazy amount of rain we've received so far. God is good. Crazy you gotta get a license for a drone. Ridiculous...Yes it was a good shot of the corn. Who needs a drone when you got a tractor?

Congratulations 🎊 on the new healthy boy's. I love baby calves. Well ... I love baby critters (with some exceptions) lol We just got our 1st litter of piglets 2 day's ago in several yrs., the Momma lost her entire 1st litter last yr (they bred her too young), with her not showing any desire to be bred for months, I didn't figure it was possible, such a blessing. 🙏 We've also been blessed with several goat kid's, just got 1 momma to go. Between the new baby's & the beautiful abundance of food, you guy's have truly been blessed. 🥰😊🙏🙏
