I had the choice of WoO across town at Devils Bowl or regular program at the other local tracks in the DFW area... not thrilled with any of them so we went to Austin (3.5 hour drive) to help my friend put in his toilet and eat supper ... that's Texas racing.. 😢 We made the right choice and back home about the same time as if I went racing.

I'm sure eagle and Schnee will continue on under different ownership somehow.. they've been around a Long time and I imagine they'll be saved somehow... the names being as iconic as they are I think would certainly draw a investor in especially with the high tier names that run the brands chassis currently

Bent and broken can be fixed but they lose some of their flex characteristics. Same goes with metal fatigue. The stress the frames take during WOO level racing means a chassis can only last so long before the setup gets inconsistent. It is easy enough to take an old chassis and measure it out and exactly duplicate it though.

Well, being the sprint car fan that I am, I hate to hear the Eagle news. Schnee as well. I will be watching it all on streaming this weekend. WoO at Devils Bowl live and both LM all of the LM shows that I can get on Flo after the replay is available. I’m happy that I almost have too much racing to watch!!! Great show Justin! I kind of doubt it. At least in the US there's almost none one buying new Henchcrafts now. There's probably only a handful of people that buy new Henchcraft chassis now. Most are converting midget frames, mostly Triple X's. Although Triple X is taking over almost everything, including the sprint car world.

With them guys money...they can hire a in house welders...or buy emi equipment...n build copies of the frames for theirselfs...hire the welders right from closed emi...really its not that hard..once u own the jigs n understand want to do correctly..

As for Williams grove not running yet this year I'd the old man was still alive it would be alot better off his daughter has completely ran the facility into the ground and made it a big joke... I'm curious if you saw or heard about the debacle at baps with them shortening the race for no other reason then it killing tires and what they did to the Dietrich boys and a few others that day

That was complete bullshit. Bad officiating and on top of that the track was so bad it was eating tires. Dietrich was pissed as i would be.

@josheubanks370 absolutely the officials had both Danny and Billy Dietrich on them plus about 5 other teams... they took Billy to the infield instead of hot pit to change a tire and told danny he could go to hot pit when it went yellow from red flag and soon as it went yellow and they started pushing him in they closed and locked the gate on him... totally messed up

EMI hasn't been the same since Australian Bill Mann merged the business with Speedway Motors. They took on to much buying and building other chassis brands. EMI and Silva screwed over Justin Insley who builds the King Chassis as EMI were to manufacturer the King Chassis in the US, when they decided to build there own car for Larson to run the Chill Bowl. Should have stayed loyal to a winning chassis and a builder who was supportive, passionate and respected. No integrity what so ever and when that happens its the start of the business going down hill.
