I like the marching drill as an explanatory exercise as beginning. Then I mark the ground and analyze with the athlete until he feels the feeling of doing it right. Then its time to replicate that feeling until it gets automatic

Full Knee extension generate maximum force production?

Full knee does not generate extra force rather just delays the hip flexion. between a 160º to a full 180º angle of the knee does not provide any (or just a little) more extra force. Fully extending the knee will cause the trail leg to be delayed and it is the precursor of other mistakes
