I'm not sure if this is the same woman I've found super annoying in the past, but in any case, this woman is annoying as hell. There is no need to try to announce every rider's name as if you speak the language. You don't, so just say their names in your normal accent and keep it moving.

@@tjtennisicmroll2k I think maybe she's just trying too hard, but it tends to alienate the audience. If you listen to Bob Roll and Phil Liggett, they just say the names in English. It may not be 100% accurate, but it keeps me focused on the race and not them. Anyway, hopefully she'll learn and change the way she saying the names.

It’s not her pronunciation. It’s that she cannot shut up. Rule #1 for announcers is let the sport tell the story. MINIMUM talking. She’s a maximum talking announcer and she interacts badly with her color commentator. They walk on each other all the time because they’re both talking way, way too much. TALK LESS. PLEASE.
