Can she be more aggressive in the start of her race? I don't know, she looked like she wasn't trying much in the start of her 4×400 anchor leg, while the other women were going hard from the beginning, even tho she caught them later. She intentionally fell back a bit and let the other runners pass her to make so she can pass them later on when the field was more strung out. She's relaxed and composed, but I think she can do with a little more aggression, especially attacking the race right from the gun.

3:45 I think Tebogo’s relay split was 3rd fastest of all time, behind Michael Johnsons 42.90ish and Hudson Smith’s 43.00 from this race. Anyhow, amazing achievement.

Tebogo was a beast last week, lucky to watch him throw down! And props to Botswana for chopping 3 seconds off their African record from Tokyo. As an American I was shaking in my boots when Q Hall did not walk out for the relay. It’s a testament to the same depth you mentioned in the open 100 that the race produced these insane times even without the Olympic 400m champion. Data question: does the aggregate 1+2+4 list change much if you scale the times? For example dividing the 200 by 2 and the 400 by 4 to make all races worth the same “value” (or using WA scoring tables?)

Tebogo can run and win anything from 100 to 800 metres at any sporting level and he has the best chances of breaking the 200 metres and 400 metres world records. I think the 100 is his weaker event but he can win gold in all of the sprints and up to 800 metres and that’s how good he is.his talent is very natural like that of bolt. He was born with speed in his legs I can only think of Sidney McLaughlin and bolt as the only other two people with that kind of raw talent and perhaps karsten warholn

For the first time in 3 years Noah isn't the top ranked 200m athlete. After watching the 19.5 race in London I knew it was just a matter of time.
@66fredo992 ай бұрын
Noah is still ranked #1 according to World Athletics. I was kinda amazed at that statement given Noah hadn't been beaten since the last Olympics. One race doesn't dethrone you. Tebogo is a formidable young talent but let's see how Noah responds. I refuse to believe he's now second or third best after four full years of dominance.

@@66fredo99 People out here showing their ignorance all over the olympics videos about Lyles, it's clear they're not real fans of the sport. Dude has only lost like twice? in his professional career at the 200m, works hard to elevate the sport to bring in more revenue which benefits everyone in track-- including other countries, is not afraid to show his personality, always congratulates other runners, talks about runners he respects/looks up to from other countries particularly jamaica, is constantly improving his speed and versatility, shows up and performs CONSISTENTLY even when he has a by and doesn't have to run and yet STILL people love to hate on him. Most disappointing of all, it seems like it comes primarily from non-USA black people. NO ONE has been more consistently fast at the 200m than Lyles, not even Bolt. Just give the man his respect already, sheesh.

Tebogo seems to have an effortless, gliding running style and a top gear in reserve that no one else has. I see him breaking the 200m and 400m WRs. He eased up crossing the line in the 200 and his 4x400 split was epic.

I am a former 800/1500 runner but love the 400 meters and the shorter sprints.For me Tebogo is probably the smoothest runner ever,as you know running is all relaxation his form is perfect no strain like a cat on hot thin roof😂 most importantly is his attitude if he wins or loses no big deal, does not put himself under too much pressure give him 2 years and the 200 record will go and if he trains for the 400 it should be in the region of 42.8 or less,the hundred is probably an impossible record 9.58 is beyond the reach of today's sprinters low 9.7s is achievable 9.6 will be difficult.Tebogo if he remains healthy is destined for greatness.

There were so many highlights in T&F, that it is difficult to pick one. Mondo Duplantis bettering his WR at 3rd attempt after his father suggested to move the bar horizontal distance by 62cm (Mondo clearly was capable of reaching the height, just setting was not right). Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone whenever she graced the track, in hurdles and long relay. Letsile Tebogo winning 200m and pushing US long relay with anchoring Rai Benjamin to nearly beat WR of MJs band from Stuttgart WC '93. But if I had to choose one, it would be triple of long distance events ran by Sifan Hassan, who medalled at each of them and crowned her efforts in marathon. What a feat. Back to Tebogo, let us not forget that Bolt reached his lifetime best only 22yrs old and only got closer to these marks at 2012 olympics again. Letsile Tebogo is differently build athlete, though, and I think he might suprise us in next 4yrs long olympic cycle. I see him blooming in longer sprints though, maybe a first man under 43s in 400m? Similarly, despite his PB being close to WR marks in 1500m and one mile and Jakob Ingebrigtsen has his sights on bettering records set by Hicham El Guerrouj, as you said in other video, 5km distance is his to dominate in years to come. His performance at Oly just proves the point. It was great athletics competition overall at this years olympics and I am looking forward to see more of it in coming years...also thanks to your wonderfull channel 🙂
