Their message is so much on changing peoples health, yet fail to realize the most unhealthy people are poor people, and selling bread that costs this much would not be something they can afford. It’s only for rich folks and even rich folks have other ways to a healthy life rather than buying these bread.

When he said he didn't understand what was wrong with them I realized he's insane. He'll never make it cause he doesn't know how to pivot his business plan. Ashame cause he could be making some good money, but he's trying to run before he can walk. Very common sadly. I started a pressure washing business as a teenager, then people started asking me to clean roofs. I did ok for myself, but reached a plateau. Then I realized the potential in going to roofing full time, along with gutter installation. Never in a million years did I think I'd own a roofing company, I had zero experience when I started it, but now we do 4-5 roofs a week 10 months a year. It's not cause I was smart, but because I listened to what the market was telling me and made the necessary changes.

Or i guess, why isn't she pitching in to make the pitch go better? The smiling is throwing me off. Her understanding to me seems like she thinks they have a great product and pitch, and his opinions and whatnot are sufficient enough to get an investor. Health food only works if you eat it constantly on a regular basis. No matter how health the bread is, if you can only afford to eat it 5-6 times a year, it’s not really impacting your health that much. People who are really health conscious can also find alternatives to achieve their health goal without paying for a $12 cube bread. The argument makes no sense to me.

My father being an entrepreneur for 40 years always said "your sales won't matter until your purchasing isn't the best". That hit me when he was able to find 3 different ways to cut 5% from the best possible pricing we had from our suppliers. Our selling price was still the same but an extra 15% was coming into profits making net profit from 60% to 75% yeah net profit ! Also being a healthier and more sustainable option doesn't necessarily mean your cost are triple, we supply sportswear recycled and non recycled to biggest sportswear brand and the cost difference is 2-3 dollar for which the brand sells the sustainable for 20-30% more than normal one

Yes, one of the challenges with gluten free items is that some of the other ingredients are not that "healthy", Sometimes, it's best to train one's self not to eat certain foods at all. Since most people are not identified correctly, they don't realize that some of their autoimmune issues are caused by food sensitivity. Really hate that people don't get that organic food being more expensive is just ridiculous and makes the decision to eat healthy next to impossible for most people who live paycheck to paycheck. The difference in pricing is a key factor and if the organic movement really wanted to "help" people they'd do something about the numbers. They could become NGOs, get tax credits or subsidies from government there are a million ways if it's really about helping society then put your money where your mouth is.

Unfortunately they can only help so much considering the cost to make, ship and buy organic product is way higher than non organic, which is why factories and big industry doesn’t try to keep things organic it’s hard and cost more. Obviously that price has to be passed on to the plate. Eating healthy isn’t eating just organic foods or things like their bread it’s making sure your diet is balanced with everything you personally need. Obviously the fresher and less preservatives the better a product will be but you have to just accept that it costs more to make it that way.
